    What other questions do you have that we didn't answer?

      Sister Act I or II?! Also, more seriously, which of the Triple Crown swims would you recommend doing first? Any rhyme or reason? I'm thinking about Catalina for October 2021, assuming I can squeeze in enough training once the water heats up and/or pools open.

      Sister Act 1 obviously! I think it is whatever fits you schedule. I did Catalina followed by 20 Bridges and then the English Channel. If I could do it again, I would have tried to do 2 the same year and the last one the following year either CC and 20B or EC and 20B. I would prefer to do EC first because it is the scariest of the 3 and you will have tons of confidence that you can finish the other 2 if you finish EC. If you have minimal marathon swim experience and cold water experience then I would say 20B first as it is pretty easy compared to the other 2. Doing Catalina first will give you some confidence for EC in being able to cover the distance and cooler water but really it comes down to logistics and finances. I hope that helps.

    Hi. If you're still seeing these..... GREAT video. Did you grease up? All sorts of info about people using all sorts of grease products. What product? Do you reapply mid-swim?
    Thanks for great Q&A!

    • @EnduranceSwimming
      @EnduranceSwimming  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I use a mixture of zinc oxide for sun protection and petroleum jelly and lanolin both for chaffing. If you apply enough, then you generally won't have to re-grease midswim.

    If you are doing really bad because the weather, the cold,etc, who make the decision to take you out of the water?
    The captain?
    You?
    Your coach?

    • @EnduranceSwimming
      @EnduranceSwimming  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends but more often than not a combination of the captain, observer and crew but the captain has final say as their job and responsibility is the safety of everyone.
