These are the videos I live for! Unexpected chaos, the struggle, the friendship, the overwhelming amount of HONESTY OMG it’s such a breath of fresh air. You guys created a masterpiece with this one. I love to see you guys overcome the obstacles as a team as a family. Genuine people, genuine scenarios, genuine outcomes. God bless you all and hope to see more content like this.
I love the opposite stress levels of both Kara and Nate while in the car. Nate thinks is may be the first time he doesn't complete an adventure. Nate goes on to say he feels responsible for all of them being on this adventure. Kara on the other hand is "every one dresses so cute in England".
So many takeaways from this video! 1. They all have a great sense of humor, which is a lifesaver itself. 2. The way they all collaborate is inspiring, and shows how fun troubleshooting can really be. 3. How thankful I am Nate didn't have Kara do this! 4. How funny that the clip from Nate and the stove keeps popping up! 5. Some friendships might be sorely tested by something like this, but with these folks, it likely made their friendships stronger. 6. High score on the laugh scale for the whole video! Thanks guys, you crazy kids!
So wonderful that you took the time to write something so good. And yes it's so funny how Nate's mini explosion in the van keeps popping up... So perfectly capturing their off and on chaotic wild Adventures.
The only thing better than living a spontaneous, somewhat abnormal life is having best friends to do it with!! Thanks for including me on this epic adventure. To be continued… 🫠👊🏼
I think that the boat issues were a God send. You all had gut instincts telling you not to do it, but kept going anyways, so Divine intervention had to step in. Im happier you are all safe. And I have to say when I saw you all with your flags surfing, it brought tears to my eyes in excitement and happiness that you are all still safe. Cherie in Canada!!
Oh my goodness, as a Brit it’s always been the mantra that the English Channel is one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world.Glad you broke down before you got into the actual shipping lanes!
I’m in the middle of watching the video but I just wanted to say I literally LOVEEE when y’all, raya and Louis, kinging it, and eamon and bec, etc get together! It’s my favorite of videos to watch and honestly it turns into a comedy show 😂🩵
I was waiting for this reunion. I noticed there’s always a few hiccups when you’re all planning to be together in a boat. Last time, Eamon got sick had to stay at a hotel.
As a seawoman who navigates those huge ships, if I was in your place my biggest fear would be run over by those big ships when you fall in water because you are wearing black in dark water and big ship radars do not pick up humans on their radar.
First, when Kara says "...and Nate has a good attitude!" LOL, that was classic! Second, when the guys are all in the water, the sun is setting and they all have their flags flying in the wind... I loved that shot! Whoever thought of that idea gets a gold star!!! :)
2:00 a big moustache outside 😂😂 3:15 what is louis smelling on his hands 😂😂😂 15:20 kara was living her best life knowing she didn't have to get in the water 20:59 love the flag idea! How cool ❤
Loved seeing the three side-by-side versions of the same adventure with Eamon/Bec’s and Louis’ videos. Usually, you guys split the coverage of a given trip but seeing the three distinct styles of storytelling and video production was super cool. Also, this helped me realize how much I appreciate how informative your videos are because I watched Eamon’s video first and I found myself wondering what was going on/what was being attempted exactly (plans, distance, potential challenges)😆 Your vid answered all my questions!
From this end this looked like one of the most successful adventures you've ever had! In a different way, of course, but those were some awesome memories made between friends! What a story you'll have to tell in the future!
This episode has to be one of my top ten Kara and Nate videos. I love it so much! Men a group get such a bad rap lately and this video showed some of the best that men can be. The adventurous, tenacious, strong, intelligent spirit of these men made me proud of them. When they held the flags of their countries as they glided over the water I was moved. Well done gentlemen!! (And let's not forget Kara with her navy seal moves and perpetual positivity!) Thanks for great content you two!
I LOVE when you all get together. It’s so funny AND we get to see 3 different versions of the same fun adventures! Watching the guys riding into the sunset with their home flags unfurled gave me goosebumps!
Man, this was entertaining for sure!!! I’m so glad you all stayed cool, calm and collect it. It’s always about the adventure not the destination. Can’t wait to see the next attempt. Love you guys!!!
Please 🙏 while your in the UK, go visit the Lake District! Also bring your van over and cover the whole coastline of the UK! We have beautiful coastlines and we love your van videos xx
That looked like so much fun! What an amazing group of people to have fun through trials and make the most of every minute no matter if it’s plan A or Z. Excellent motto for living fully!
I’m glad you arrived back in the UK safe Nate. You never know what lurks beneath the waves 🫣. This was such fun seeing the three of you try your best to rise to the challenge despite the knot in your stomachs. Kara did a great job as chief emotional support officer. ❤❤
There's something inspirational about watching successful people go through failure. They demonstrate how attitude is everything; they accept the risk and let themselves live the experience. That's how you turn a failure into a learning experience.
Hearing Andy being so calm while the most insane things happen is so funny like he dropped his phone and was like “oh well” and then the boat almost floated away and he’s just tip toeing and calmly chasing it I love him
I consider it a win with all the things going wrong with the boat and being so close to the shipping lanes and no one got hurt and you still road the boards for a bit. So congrats!🎉
I know someday you're going to do this successfully, and I'll be excited to watch that video! You gave it a good try, didn't give up, and that's what matters most!
Epic...simply EPIC. I started out not being to thrilled to watch this episode, but it was grand! Loved the problem-solving, trial-and-error and all the joking around. The best part was the 3 guys with their flags as capes moving along the water with a wonderful music bed. I could watch failed plan videos all day!!!!
Great job, everyone! I know it didn’t go to plan, but with how anxious everyone was feeling I think it was probably for the best. And it was still a great video!
Congrats with the little one Raya & Louis, and tx Kara & Nate for bringing us a new adventure with Eamon & Bec. ❤️ #happy! 😍17:38😂😂 every time 🙈... 20:43 epic memory for sure 🎉🎉!! #can't wait for the next attempt!
It makes me happy everytime I see Louis because I use to watch him while growing up, and now I watch you guys, makes me happy seeing him expand his horizons, hes a good dude!
I wish these were hour long. I absolutely love you guys. When I wake up and see there is a nee video it makes me more excited than videos from any other channel
I just love that three channels have the same video, encompassing the same content but they are all totally different! I thoroughly enjoyed each video as its own entity. To me, that’s a testament of your talent as storytellers and the intense creativity and AWESOMENESS that is @karaandnate @louis and @eamonandbec ❤ Love you guys sooo much from Trinidad 🇹🇹
Seriously best video ever you guys!!! You three couples are the ultimate BEST EVER!! CONGRATS and thanks deeply for giving my sunday so MUCH JOY! Love you guys so much. This is only the beginning, I know you will cross it!
Long time viewer here, I think it’s really cool you guys posted this vid anyway even though the original goal was never complete. I respect that y’all tried anyway and were able to make the most out of the challenge despite all the obstacles that came up!
How. Cinematic. Was. That. Scene. Kara, you are infallible. I love your adventures together as a couple, but as a solo traveler, I've had some of the most amazing experiences with fellow globetrotters, so when you guys link up with other world travelers, it brings back memories for me. I greatly enjoy "meeting" other people through you. I think you're right, Kara: for everything to have gone as planned would have been...less exciting. What an epic video and adventure!
Oh my god, this epic failure of a task was maybe my best laugh in months. I love the bro-energy between the 4 guys. And I REALLY love that forevermore when we speak of Nate's mechanical abilities you can just cut to that clip of Nate 'fixing' the stove in the van - I almost died laughing!!! Thanks guys and will look forward to seeing you try again, hopefully in the not too distant future!
I just love your videos you have a great message when life doesn't work the way you want to just keep going, You will make amazing memories. Thank you for this video.
I love that Nate got his adrenaline junkie friends, rather than making you go! Glad you all are safe! And-such a great episode. Next time-maybe a bigger boat, and back-up boards?
I laughed so much and enjoyed this so so much just listening to Kara narrate what was happening. Good friends and good times are great to have in life.
You did it! Well, you guys succeeded in another epic adventure! 😍🥰❤️ Aww. I cannot wait until Nate, Eamon and Louis cross the English Channel on lift foils! It didn't happen this time, but I am sure it will happen 🎉
Maybe it’s just the editing, but from what I can see, and what I’ve learned from watching all of you for years, the positive attitude and nobody blaming anyone else for any of the problems is amazing!
In an unfortunate situation like this, these 4 men came together to try and fix things. They didn't give up... That is what true friendship is About ❤ Great video guys and I'm so glad that you All are safe. Give it a little while maybe a new location and go for it!!! Those waves were no joke... Blessings and Love to you All 🙏♥️🙏❤️🙏
Looks like fun, and so glad you were able to get the boat moving again and back to shore without having to call the coast guard. I could just imagine the news headlines if you'd drifted into the shipping channel and needed rescue, lol.
This scene 20:47 is EPIC! I know it sounds funny, but it reminds me of the Fast & Furious movie just before they race. As always, the editing is on point, and I truly get excited when you post a new video. I like adventure, but you guys, ALL of you, take it to another level and I'm so impressed. Love you all!
Omg, you guys light up my frikkin LIFE!!! Laughed so much, feel incredibly inspired. So grateful that you guys started sharing on YT all those years ago. Your presence in the world is a gosh darn blessinggg!!! Including Eamon, Bec, Raya & Louis!! Much love xoxo
Love your videos, I would love to travel around the world like you guys do. You both are the luckiest people in the world to get these opportunities that's once in a lifetime.
An American, a Canadian, a British crossing the English Channel to France. Reminds heavily of the Normandy Invasion/D-Day of WW2! Great cinematography! Are you guys thinking of it when shooting the footage with the flags?
Watching every video in this channel, I always felt, “I wish I was there attempting this adventure with you”. This is the first time I felt “I’m glad I’m not doing it” right from the beginning 😅 but well done for keeping positive spirit ❤
what a fantastic capture! p.s. thanks for the ending chuckle (Nate confirming that Andy is the first man to ever admit instruction manuals do, in fact, work 😂)
Best group of friends EVER ! I’d kill for a day will all of you. Truly the most genuine, kind, adventurous, fun and funny people. Love it when y’all get together. Thank you for another great adventure ❤👏🏼🤣🚤🏄🏽♂️ PS. Now imagine if Riley, Elayna, Craig and Aimee had been there too 😂😅
it amazes me that some of the biggest stars on youtube, used a youtube video to solve their problem. The scene with the flags, so so amazing. So cinematic. The moral of the story at the end.
You guys are crazy, but what a fun guy's adventure challenge! Kara is always in on the fun and is there to lighten the mood! Raya and Louie's baby is so cute! The guys looked like super heros when they were up on their boards with their flags!
"Who knew I was their biggest HYPE girl?" Quite possibly my favorite Kara quote, EVER! I Love you guys! I'm glad you made it through that challenge safely! Thank you for sharing your adventure. Love from Washington State!
I know this is all meant to be light-hearted entertainment, but it feels rather misjudged to me - there are hundreds of refugees risking their lives by attempting to cross the Channel in poor quality vessels each week, as they try to find a safer life for themselves and their families, often with tragic consequences. I didn't watch the whole video so maybe there was some reference to this later on. But if not, it's sad that the desperate situation of these refugees wasn't acknowledged.
Loved this video it shows you, you need some fails in life also but its all about the friendships and the memories. Loved this trip so much. You have the most amazing, friendly and positive friends. To me this was no fail this was a mission completed 100%❤
😢 to the hundreds of refugee boats that do this daily to survive... Please be more respectful with your 'challenges' RIP to all the people who die crossing daily x
This was a great video from a cinematographic POV; and the idea of showing a noble 'failure' definitely appeals to the masses, as reflected in comments below. However, I contend that this was simply a publicity stunt and never a true crossing attempt. Why? : 1. The point at which they were intending to cross is 40km wide, this is well outside the nominal range of these Flite boards. 2. They did not appear to have any meaningful safety equipment on their person e.g. beacons, PFDs etc. 3. The rescue boat and crew were inadequate for a 3-person crossing i.e. 3 potential casualties 4. The French and UK authorities were not informed as would be usual in these circumstances 5. To take Flite board amateurs and think they would realistically cope with the condition of the English Channel is simply unlikely and unrealistic. It was a fun video no doubt, but I contend it was fundamentally a sophisticated piece of Click Bait, and I hope it does not set a trend for extoling the value of failure or fake challenges.
I’ve never clicked on a video so fast before. Y’all encourage me to get out here and explore the world. Love y’all and may the Gods bless you on your travels.
Thanks so much for organising this! we learnt a lot! I'm so ready for the second attempt!! just tell me when 😀
Stop off in jersey! You’ll love it!

Well said!! All you guys rock!! Great video, with my absolute top 3 you tubers creating memories!!! 🎊💙
If you are still in England as I'm writing this then you should definitely visit Somerset the countryside is amazing
The footage with the 3 guys on board waving the flags and the sunset was amazing!!
💯 agree! America 🇺🇸 Canada 🇨🇦 and the United Kingdom 🇬🇧. Reeeally nice to see these days. Thank you.

Also, she mistook a posh district of Brighton for all of England.
She definitely wasn't thinking about London when she said that!
The edit of Nate’s dumbfounded face with Kara saying “And Nate…has a good attitude”, almost made me pee my pants.
The funniest part of the video! 😂
Hahahaha I’m glad you thought that was as funny as I did 🙋🏻♀️
i aint gonna lie but im seeing this video and i was gonna say that lol and hi kara and nate just in case you see it 2 lol but yea

it amazes me that some of the biggest stars on youtube, used a youtube video to solve their problem. The scene with the flags, so so amazing. So cinematic. The moral of the story at the end.
Love, love, love this episode
You guys are crazy, but what a fun guy's adventure challenge! Kara is always in on the fun and is there to lighten the mood!
Raya and Louie's baby is so cute!
The guys looked like super heros when they were up on their boards with their flags!
Nate will never live down the time he used fire to find a gas leak. 😂 #wewillneverforgetvanlife2020
“You don’t look very confident Kara!” - Eamon
I died 🤣
Loved this video and what Kara said about it being about the journey and not the destination. Well done all! :)
"Who knew I was their biggest HYPE girl?" Quite possibly my favorite Kara quote, EVER! I Love you guys! I'm glad you made it through that challenge safely! Thank you for sharing your adventure. Love from Washington State!
The best part of this video is when the guys were surfing!! Carrying their country's flag just tugged at my heartstrings!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
Desparate situation of the refugees? You’re a just stop oil fan too i suppose??
Risking their lives to try and find a safer life... from France? I'm confused, what is so dangerous about France??
I had so much fun watching this adventure. I absolutely love the endearing relationship you all enjoy. Its beautiful.
The lack of safety precautions is worrying, please respect the sea next time.
That and a massive donation to the RNLI for the stupid example set.
YOU KARENS😂 Lol I’m not slap dash but there should be some safety rules but not to much
Loved this video it shows you, you need some fails in life also but its all about the friendships and the memories.
Absolutely loved it! Sometimes in life we loose but some of my biggest losses have caused the greatest wins.
That’s an unsafe and dumb thing to do. Crossing the worlds busiest shipping channel
No life jackets, poor boat prep/maintainence, all the gear n no idea!! Given their following its a pretty poor example theyre setting.
This was a great video from a cinematographic POV; and the idea of showing a noble 'failure' definitely appeals to the masses, as reflected in comments below. However, I contend that this was simply a publicity stunt and never a true crossing attempt.
Why? :
3 potential casualties
4. The French and UK authorities were not informed as would be usual in these circumstances
