In the indicators settings, create a new indicator with the category "Icons" in plural, then make them show Magic,curses, whatever your class can dispel
This needs to be pinned. People like you add the best little tweaks and improvements. I copied your instructions and I'm going to use them to help me learn how to use these amazing healing addons. I always wondered how good healers could keep an eye on so many different things. I think that learning how to use these addons will help me progress as a wow player in my quest to cross the threshold between filthy noob to decent heroic raider (ROFL)
Nice to know you can solo out certain debuffs in grid2 and highlight them to another indicator... Say a border with a nice bright color for important spot healing or dispells. Learned something new today :3
Really learned a lot from your first 2 grid vids and it helped me with some issues I had switching between holy/prot/ret as a pally in raid vs dungeons. Love it! Enjoyed this one aswell.
I'm having the same issue. He doesn't show it attached to an indicator anywhere which I assume is the issue. He already had the AOE Heals status for shaman created in the video. My guess is it's attached somewhere that wasn't shown. I've tried playing with it and attaching it to background and some other stuff but it's not doing anything. :(
I was able to get it to work with the border indicator but for some reason health wouldn’t ever flash for me. Border I actually like though so it’s all good. Thanks!
Something I find nice is making all the bars for health green but making the names class color. Since no class is green it’s just a simple little thing that I enjoy.
@@Balloonbot i would decribe monks as like a teal. More blue than green. Either way I make mine a dark green. I can still see monks easily but this comment was great. 😂😂
@@fabiobianchi7268 hunters are... almost yellow to me. Like a light brown even. And monks are such a light green it’s almost blue to me. Maybe it’s just the way we all see colors differently lol. I don’t have any troubles reading names tho. So it’s all good. 😬

Different classes have different spells. Some spells can only dispel magic effects, others are more powerful. Gird2 has effect type build in. I use 5 different square indicators for Magic, disease, poison, curse, and typeless(bleeding I guess). So I know if I need to dispel the effect just by looking at these squares.
11:24 It's not gonna solve the mess. Shields are taking space of the remaining hp and overlapping. With Big shields e.g. Rapture you won't be able to see remaining hp on the frame. Is it possible to bind it to missing hp instead? (just like default frames do)

Is there a way to have the shield bar turn up as an extension to the right of the health bar as opposed to being a part of the health bar itself? I know the normal raid frame does this.
Is there a way for me to toss on a rejuv left button and it select the target in the party as well. I just changed to clique and grid watching your vids. But healbot uses or has an auto select feature im just unsure how to do it.
It's a real shame that blizzard doesn't offer incentive programs to addon developers who have already created some really great improvements to their game.

Does ELVUI come into play? You've mentioned that elsewhere. And you may have me switch from Vuhdo to Grid2. I've come from Disc/Holy Priest to Pally last 2 expansions and now going with Resto Shammy.
Very good and helpfull vid. I have a problem with inc heal - it dont show like the Amount of incommin it just lay down like your last setup a "green" background. It dont show the amount. Same with shield - is there a bug ? I just downloaded grid2 today fresh and new. (i tested other frames - but came back to grid - i am not a super noob to grid but... somehow i stuck on this issu.... can you or viewer help me with that - whats wrong. Not sure why but the AOE heals part is not working for me on my Resto Shaman. Did exactly what you described. I must have messed up somewhere!

FOUND IT ! Go to the "health" indicator, and add the indicator aos-Shaman (first one). Then it works ;)

i am not interested in changing my raid frames but, i want to have my health bar as raid frame while not in group, can i do this somehow?
Create a weak aura which shows your health etc, have it only show out of combat.
There are so many customizable unit frames just mess around with some.
MadSkillzz out here doing the Lords work or in the case Blizzards by helping to create a functioning healer ui.
