I always keep a travel size package of dental floss in my notions bag for lifelines. I take a piece and thread it in the keyhole of my Knitters Pride Zing needle and just knit it through! Lifesaver!✌❤🇩🇰
Thanks so much for reviewing our goodies, Stacy! XO
I have the Stanwood yarn winder and love it! I don't have a swift yet. Trying to figure out the best one for me. Thanks for you rundown of what you use.
I love knitting and crochet tools. I have rheumatoid arthritis, so the tools I am able to use (physically speaking) have changed over the years. At the moment I use bamboo and wood needles, as they really help with my arthritis pain. It forces me to slow down, be more mindful of the actual physical motions. I really don't think there is a "perfect" knitting needle or crochet hook out there, I really do believe having a variety is best.
Loved this so much. You have particular tastes and you’ve done your research. Thanks.
Great tool ideas! Nice job!
Super helpful video. Thank you! 🧶
For those that like the look of the Stanwood Large winder, I have essentially a generic of it that I got on ebay, it looks identical to Stacy's one except it's blue not green, it's a little louder than hers but other than that it's identical, and I think I paid $30 USD? for it? And I love it, it does exactly what I need. They're very large so they're not particularly portable, but they're awesome. I also got the generic version of the Stanwood wooden umbrella swift, btw, also off ebay, for $20 USD. Gotta love Chinese knock offs, right? ;) But there are so few parts, little to get wrong, so honestly I don't ever see myself replacing my set with actual Stanwood products, if anything broke or whatever I would replace with what I have now.
I have the blue U-Knit one as well paid more shipping to canada was tricky but well worth it. Do not regret it ever. Hopefully will stands the test of time with having metal gears.
