INSANE Carp Spawn Bowfishing! Doubles and Triples! (Utah Bowfishing)

During the spawn I find it easiest to wade into the water. It's a great time of year to get into bowfishing and take others out! Just know that in Utah it is illegal to throw your fish on the banks. After you shoot Carp with a bow or catch them with a rod, bang it on the head, sink them by running a knife through the stomach to pop the air sac, and throw it back in the water. It doesn't smell the whole place up when you do this either.

@@david97916 Carp started spawning at the Utah Lake Inlets (the last 3 years): May 5th, May 13th, May 16th.
Shallow flats at Utah lake will start 3-7 days earlier than the Inlets.
Other lakes will start 2 weeks later than Utah lake.
Spawn usually lasts about a month.
If it rains in the middle of the spawn it'll take 2-3 days of warm weather for them to start up again.
Different states will be different of course.

After I shoot them most of them get clubbed in the head. If I'm sure it's a fatal hit I may just throw it back. Hope that answers your question!
