This event reminds me of when Wimberley, TX flooded in 2015. The river got so high they couldn’t even measure the peak. When I got there, the following day, I immediately was fighting back tears because of all of the destruction everywhere. There was debris in every direction: Houses were only piles of wood with occasional furniture among the piles. There was even debris in the electrical lines because the water was that high. Water is so important and yet so incredibly destructive and powerful at the same time.
I live in Asheville and it’s a lot worst then I anticipated. I was recently at the intersection of Swannanoa River Rd and South Tunnel Rd to see the aftermath in person and flying my drone in the air.

And third I was tracking the Hurricane before it was going to even hit WNC or not. So how about you keep it to yourself and don’t even think about having an argument with a native resident of WNC that’s aware of what’s happening in reality.
