    I still don’t know what liberal art students do. Their explanation was so vague and confusing that I know less now than I do when I started the video.

    To produce more professors that teaches socialism and marxism who, in the end would teach another more students to become professors who would teach marxism and socialism. An unending cycle. In our country, these kinds of leftist professors requires their students to join rally of protest against the government. Attendance would be checked there and grades would be given in return. These students are scholars of the government. They are funded by taxpayers money. And yet, they protest and rebelled against the government that supports their college studies. Sickening liberalism.

    Everything that a small liberal arts college offers, a major university does so and a lot more.
    1) Some private universities and most public universities have bigger class size, but there’s no advantage to a small class size at LACs when the resources are also small and limited. Highly selective private universities have small class anyway, hence the very low admissions rates and student faculty ratios.
    2) LACs have limited research opportunities, are not strong in math/science, and very few even offer engineering programs. They don’t have medical, law, or business schools. They’re also not nearly as well recognized by employers.
    3) top universities also offer “well-rounded” and interdisciplinary education, to an even higher extent. And they do a much better job of specialization, too. Whether it’s math, science, soft science, economics, humanities, or any other subject.
    4) if extra focus on undergraduate is of importance to you, Princeton, Caltech, and other relatively smaller universities do that way better than any LAC could. And universities with both graduate and undergraduate emphasis still offer far more resources and opportunities in both.

  • @gamerofwar99

    Okay so that mean a liberal arts education, which costs as much as any other degree, only exists to improve your ability to do other things? So basically this only works if you're absurdly wealthy then? Because paying for a degree that's as expensive as any other, which only exists as a support degree for what you actually should want to do is incredibly bad spending and pretty clearly a ripoff, and only serves a use for people who can afford to do this.

    • @danie7kovacs
      @danie7kovacs 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is thw worse case scenario. Even if it would "only exists to improve your ability to do other things" it would not be useless. If you are motivated and you have a goal to reach, liberal education is one of the best thing you can do to yourself.

      @@danie7kovacs Your point being? Anyone who majors in liberal arts is a fool because it is wasted money. If I were to choose a degree to spend thousands of dollars on, it'd better be one that'd enable me to make it all back in the near future. Funny thing is, Liberal Arts doesn't enable you to make bank. Science, engineering, medical, or tech degrees are basically the only ones worth money. A fool should understand that.

    • @danie7kovacs
      @danie7kovacs 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      NPC #011011001 This is the difference between you and me. I don’t go to L.A.E. because of the degree. I couldn’t care about that less. I do it to gain criticak thinking, self-reflection and other stuff which is practicak when it comes to improving yourself. Yeah, if you want to make big money but you are unmotivated to do it by yourself, this is definitely bot the place not you. My goal is not to get more money, but to do something in my life that make me happy. If this is money, that’s just sad.

      @@danie7kovacs There are books for that my friend. Library cards are free, there is no point in Liberal Arts. The only difference is that you have less money in your pocket. The ONLY reason to go to college is to get a better job. I can learn what classes teach on my own for free, but it doesn't matter without the paper that says you completed a course. Now that Liberal Arts course does nothing for you and you will realize when you're older. I am sorry and I hope you find a decent job some day.
