How does this headset compare to the Plantronics 5200 UC. I bought that from you guys and have been using it for a while. I don’t think the 5200, was as good as the Voyager legend in terms of reliability and battery life, but the dongle works well with my laptop for zoom meetings and I like that it has built in Tile recovery, so I can find it. It is starting to get less reliable and was looking to get another one or upgrade. How does this compare for sound quality and microphone?
Another question. I use an iPhone 13, which I believe only has Bluetooth 5.0. Does that mean I won’t get the full 10 hours of battery life from the yealink?
Hello, I bought the Yealink BH71 Pro. The app isn't working on my phone. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Any idea why it's not working? I select Yealink BH71 in the app and connect via Bluetooth, which works fine. However, when I go back in the app, I can't do anything. If I can't use the app, how does the ANC on the Yealink work for turning on and off?
Hi I have a question Yealink Headset BH 71 does it cause headache??? I got it from Amazon in Europe a month ago, and after use, I feel a pain in the head. Has anyone ever had this problem? Note that the headset performed very well and better than the rest of the headphones that I used, accept my opinion
Can you explain why you have to use BH71 Pro to connect to the computer? I figured the bluetooth could support this? I was hoping to use the BH71 and connect to pc via bluetooth....can someone clarify?
Yes when connecting to computer you want to use the bh71 pro since it has the usb adapter for the computer this adapter is what allows the headset to connect to Yealink usb connect software to update the headset to the latest firmware, adjust settings, etc. it also allows you to answer calls or mute the mic wirelessly from the headset. With Bluetooth connection you won’t get any of this functionality.
When connecting with your computer it’s recommended to use the Pro version that includes the USB Dongle as you get a more reliable connection, better audio and advanced abilities with compatible software like being able to answer/end calls from the headset when away from your computer.
@@HeadsetAdvisor Can you clarify with rich details why with the USB dongle the audio is better?, this means it is not Bluetooth but uses a different wireless protocol and wider band codec?

can this be used for VOIP calls?

Hello
Yealink BH71 headset Is it affected or has negatives in rainy weather
It doesn't have a water protection rating, which we found odd, so we're not to sure how well it would hold up in rainy weather.

Great work sir
Thank you 🙏
Can you answer calls with voice commands ? I'm a disabled man in a wheelchair
Unfortunately not, you'd want to look at the Poly Voyager 5200 which does have voice commands.
