Usually the Himalayan deer meat is a delicious source of protein but in the case of this deer Himalayan there as long as he has been way to long. Lots of folks just drive by Himalayan deer on the side of the road and waste the opportunity to partake in eating some fine meat. 😊
Wow the whole thing was kinda crazy ! You should have seen the herds of deer in front , behind , beside my house last week at night . It was cold and the night sky was bright and the deer were out in full force . To be honest I have never seen that many up close to the house eating . Thanks for sharing and have a great day !
Wow, what a wild story! Crazy how things play out sometimes, especially when a buck like that is involved. I swear I saw a wound near the left shoulder before the antler came off-was that just me? Either way, definitely an interesting one, even without full closure. Appreciate the story-keep ‘em coming!
Got a doe last year just like that, skinny back bone and neck, emaciated, game warden took the head for testing but was negative. Common thought here it was EHD. Ended up in the landfill. This in Iowa.
My bet is that is the one that got hit. Probably had internal damage and took a while to succumb to his injury. Lost all that weight by not being able to eat during that time.
@McGieHomesteadAdventures What part of the state are you in? You're in TN, If I remember correctly, I'm in southern Middle TN. Lawrence County specifically, there hasn't been a verified case here. It is one county west of me, though so it's moving east. My guess is that is the deer that was hit, he couldn't eat enough to sustain weight and the cold got the best of him. Unfortunate but such is life.
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures hey I'm shure you know but a Coyote trapping video would get Hella views I used to watch em all the time that and Hog hunting but Coyote trapping was up there with it
Just before the first antler pulled off I could swear that I saw a neck wound directly in front of the animal's left shoulder. Am I correct? Looked like a gash and a hole.
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures 😂😂😂 .. Yeah , I'm thinking the pack of coyotes would see the diseased deer and before going in , would first talk among themselves : "Hey , why don't we All go over there and take a Big bite , and dat way build up our immunity so dat next time , we can CHOW DOWN ! ? "
Good deal you found him definitely on the down side of his life by how skinny he is not good you said two to three days he's been there and not even a coyote touched it 😮😮😮 .I think that says a lot thanks for sharing keep the cameras rolling from Florida.
@@McGieHomesteadAdventuresonce the buzzards open it up, they will be all over it. Do you have a camera you can put on it? Buzzards will find it, an Eagle will eat a bunch of it and coyotes will be there the next night. -that’s how it goes in my neck of the woods! 😂
Hit your buck? Apparently not. 😂 Deer belong to the one who kills it. Not the one who takes a picture of it. Kind of like a tree or location isn't yours just because you hand a tree stand or camera if it is on public land.
Fella like you ought to be ashamed of himself with his own outdoor channel you should be more respectful of your fellow outdoorsmen rather than cutting them down in a childish immature way... I'm sure you've called a buck you were hunting yours don't be childish be a steward of the environment
@McGieHomesteadAdventures he's definitely sick, was there a gunshot somewhere ? That run down don't happen overnight, sorry brother that cwd a joke anyway not every deer gets it,
@McGieHomesteadAdventures I'd say he was sick an with the rut in it took it out of him, it's a sad thing but just way if life, keep a eye on your other deer mite not hurt to keep camera up for awhile see if any others show signs of sickness, good luck with the deer.

That’s very true! The bounty of the state and county roads is scrumptious!!😎😋😋🍖

When it’s cold they’re willing to come out for food! It’s crazy just how many deer there really are!
Nice video brother thanks for sharing son 👍
Thanks for watching!
Excellent content Brother. Kudos! 👏🏽👍🏽 Thanks for taking us along. And yes. As my grandfather would say, “ that deer ain’t fit to kill”.
I know what you mean…. It looked worse than Hillary on a good day!🥴

You’re the second person to say that! It could definitely be! I missed it somehow!
That deer you found to check it just field dress it looks at the lungs if you see bubbles in the lungs it has that CWD
The Deer was hit by a VEHICLE. Probably Big internal damage from Impact.
@TODinWY It’s very possible!

I guess it could be from a multitude of reasons, but one thing is certain, it’s not good for human consumption!
Whats up brother sorry to hear what happen brother glad your neighbor is ok brother thats all that matters god bless yall

Hulk Hogan brother?

A😢very interesting video Thank you and God bless you and your family 😊😊
Thank you so much! I appreciate the support!
Appreciate the "ride along" on this journey, Micah. Leaning towards CWD on this one, but could be from internal injuries.
Yeah, it was a bummer, but it’s all part of the journey!
Fun calls when you least expect it
Yes!!!
Surprised the coyotes hadn't gotten to him yet.
My bet is that is the one that got hit. Probably had internal damage and took a while to succumb to his injury. Lost all that weight by not being able to eat during that time.
That’s a best case scenario… I’d hate to have cwd here!
@McGieHomesteadAdventures we had our 1st confirmed case in Ga last week.
@gadawgs8911 Oh no! That’s not good!
@McGieHomesteadAdventures nope!! I dont like zombie deer

I had a buck like that on my property skinny sick looking I found him dead he was tested for cwd and was positive for it
Mcgie you gotta get a go pro with a head mount so we can follow with you! Haha just a suggestion no worries hope you get that buck brotha
I definitely need to do that.😂
Bummer, thanks for the video.
Yeah, it was a rough one.
Give call to CPO and extension office.
Go get that deer 🦌 Podnah.
😎😎😎
That's a great idea of using them as a caucus trap you should get some good footage out of that and get rid of some stinking coyotes 😉😉🐝
That's the plan!😎

Yes indeed!

I didn’t see that! It’s very possible!
I just sew the clip of you trip to Kentucky. You were not to far from where we live
Awesome!!
Let the coyotes be your test to see if the deer is diseased . I'm betting they will not eat him
If I were a coyote I’d just go ahead and take a chance on it!😂😂😂

@ HAWWWW!!! . I can envision that conversation in my Fertile Imagination !
Well that's a bummer.
Yes it is!
Good morning Brother,
Interesting story even if it doesn't come with some closure. Hope you caught some dawgs around there.
Have a good day my friend

On another note glad to be back at work and over this sickness that has kept me in bed for a week.
Hope you continue to get stronger and well completely. @@meliciarichards9249
I’m glad you’re doing better! My turn came around and I’ve been down since Sunday. Pretty sure it’s Covid.
@McGieHomesteadAdventures ours ended up being a flu strain

Looks like CWD
How is that deer yours
It’s obviously not, but I made you comment!😎
It probably was not eating regularly being hit and then probably started chasing and not eating ive seen deer lose 25lbs when chasing
Could very well be the case!
why not start at the point of impact?
I actually did because he hit it where I pulled onto the property
Why is bambee in ur living room
She decided that this is where she wanted to spend the rest of her life!😍😍😍
Wow good u saw...put trap for another animals
Yes indeed!!
good video micah stay warm tim

Coyote bait!!
I bet that deer is full of infection.
How many traps are set right next to that carcass????
None yet, they haven’t touched it! Very strange
