Thanks again. I know this song from A to Z plus the meaning and interpretations of the drumming in the fore-background. This is my childhood. I am proud of Egba people. It hurts me when I listen to this particular song.
@EgbaAlake. I learned the interpretations of the drumming for my older family members. My father was a prominent chief and lawyer from Abeokuta. I was a very little child when this record was released but the philosophies and proverbs of the drumming stayed in my memory due to my surrounding. This brings great memory, I wished I could re-live those years again. Thanks for your efforts.
@EgbaAlake You are a star Egba Alake, thank you very much, and I very much look forward to it, afterwards we shall crown you the Asiwaju Agbasha Laruge of Oodua in diaspora!!! lol!
Does anybody know where I can find Yusuf's track where he praises the Kings of Lagos?? I am talking about the ones where he refers to : Oba ni kosoko, oba ni, adele amusa, oba ni, adeyimika oyekan, obani, Kosoko Morohunfolu, Oba ni.................etc.. It is an amazing track and I will be grateful if anyone can tell me if it is on here!! Thank you.
