I love that cat, absolutely the best Doom playthrough I've seen so far. What's their name? Great job with this, and I'm really enjoying the format. I would agree that showing the fast-forwarded run that got you back to where you last died makes most sense, but only if there isn't a cat cam active. :>

Thanks for posting the link to the wad in the description. This is the map that made me decide I need to play this wad. Very cool design. Also, cute cat. I have two orange cats that look a lot like yours.
Haha, the cat video was great. Really dig the atmosphere on this one. And it had a lot more purple than I expected. 😆 I also really liked it when you used the MIDI from the map for the fast forward. Good call on that. Oh yes! That texture at 13:20 affects me in unexpected ways. I don't know what it is, but it just feels a lot higher resolution than DOOM should allow. And it's really a beautiful texture too, used subtly like this. If it covered a large wall where it was allowed to repeat it probably wouldn't look as good to me. But here, I don't know why, but it really gets me!
While creating the thumbnail I also realised how there's still a surprising amount of purple haha. And thanks, I think I'll do that (using the map's MIDI) more often! That texture is definitely something unique, I don't remember seeing it often at all. And I agree it probably wouldn't work as well if it's used on something large!
I found a bud/potential softlock near the finale. If you walk against the scrolling floor that pushes you away from the sections with the afrits, you'll fall behind the bars and can't get out. You can also get blasted by the archviles there too. Tbh even beyond this bug potential and their annoying placement to take out, I really don't think the archviles should even be there since they're too obnoxious in the area of denial when there's already the cyberdemon and afrits to apply pressure. Anyways other than that, I enjoyed this map, it was interesting how I went for the secret much earlier than you did without the plasma rifle, complicating dealing with the pinkies since I only had the ssg.
Oh, you could mention that softlock on the forums (or maybe they'll read it here, who knows). The archviles are somewhat annoying, true, though I don't mind them too much. I just wish they got crushed near the end, having to take them out manually if you run out of rockets is painful 😅
The music is very cool. Some parts of the music sounds actually from "Blood" And awwww the cat is cute :) At least it is a sweet distraction. You even put in a cat camera. I liked that. The design of the map is nice. But again that would be way to hard for me. The first secret area is very trippy but it has a nice lighting. I did notice one death in the fast forward part. I think when maps are getting even harder you should include a few deaths with fast forward but not all of them, when for example you die 10 times just show 3 of those 10. That would be okay. I know that now that would not help you anymore because the video is like almost 1 year old by this point but I thought I say it anyway :) Your keyboard is pretty cool too. The first time I saw the video name, I was wondering what the + Cat meant. I enjoyed this video :) Let's go to Map 8.
I agree the map itself is solid, I just wish there was a climactic fight at the end to close the episode. I kind of thought the outside area was going to offer that once I saw the secret megasphere, but not quite :p

Also, how easy is it to take care of a cat? A friend of mine recently got a cat and he said cats are very easy to take care of. What are your thoughts on this?
It's relatively easy compared to a dog for sure, but besides that it does depend on their personality. Some cats can entertain themselves easily and do their own thing, but other cats want a lot of attention and will meow more, want to play etc. In general it's good to have two cats so they can socialise and play with each other.
Have you played entropy yet? It was made by nirvana(the one who did an evening with...) I believe. It is a fantastic level. UV was too hard for me but I think you're more than capable of beating it.
Nice playthrough and your cat is hilarious, he/she thought: I'm going to assist my owner. About that format I think you should stick to it, perhaps when the video becomes to long then you can cut the video. Anyway im looking forward for the next video with 🐈 (Team Vytaan)😜

Playing by myself, I am certain I would never notice that shootable switch at the 1:07 mark. Can you complete the level without it?
