I think there's too much enthusiasm and not enough healthy respect for AI. The media buries the cons, trying to rush us forward into a world we have not properly prepared for. Read up on Fabio Urbina, when his pharmaceutical team casually in an effort to see if any generative harm could come from AI, created 40,000 lethal viruses in under 6 hrs, on a home computer. Or what about Navinder Singh, the flash crash trader who crashed the markets in 2010 from his room on a personal computer. Now imagine AI in the hands of a criminal organization, ransomware gangs, state threat actors, even morally languid hedge fund managers- there could be a cataclysmic shift in wealth transfer greater than we have ever seen. We could see the first trillionaires at the expense of everyone else. At the far end of that, a state actor can intentionally crash the financial markets the repercussions of which we could never recover from, think your pension funds, 401k, IRAs, investment vehicles, all wiped out by one bad actor whether intentionally or not.... it's terrifying
LOL 100% yes, it truly seems to be the high-tech stock with the most historical base, with so many revenue growth opportunities while still having the greatest perceived floor when things go bad in the stock market. Never mind the minimal exposure to China and lack of government meddling (minus the tail end of Activision) when compared to all the other Top 10 tech stocks. Geez, let me post this and go buy some more - ha.
This is by far the best story I have seen in AI. We now have a complete picture of how both the software and hardware stack come together. Amazing ... No, Nvidia has nothing to fear. Believe it or not, Oracle has something to fear.
The interesting thing here isn't the AI. It's the new fiber tech that they're using. So using this new method of manufacturing of fiber Microsoft might be able to reach speeds of Pbps . That will change everything .
I just want to say "Thank you" for continuing to provide 'video summaries' of all these presentations. I appreciate all your knowledge and insights, but, of equal value, is the time savings you provide me. Time is our most valuable resource.
Because it was never Meta's metaverse to begin with. There was a metaverse, then there was Facebook that changed their name so people think that metaverse is somehow theirs.
I'm excited to work with these supermachines, from my first pentium 4 to AI, cloud services, Data-collection with Mongodb. This coming year 2024 will be interesting based on new tech.
Have never been a fan of Microsoft, but if they do their thing right here and let a little loose their priority for capital over people, I might just change my mind.
World of Warcraft before Microsoft: "Bring me 12 perfect goat livers." World of Warcraft after Microsoft and Ai: "Please bring me 12 perfect goat livers."
A very important and often overlooked factor in investment analysis is the ability of CEOs to present and excite other humans. Compare these two guys freestyling and perfectly selling "on the flow", with the "enthusiasm" presenting of other tech CEOs in the sector -the others seem to be made of cardboard. Please tech companies: be smart and even if you're the CEO, hire professional presenters for these events. Your stock price will thank you for it.
Jensen @15:02: Well, generative AI is the single most significant platform transition in computing history. You and I have both been in the computer industry for a long time. In the last 40 years nothing has been this big. It's bigger than PC; it's bigger than Mobile; it's gonna be bigger than Internet, and surely by far. Me: Yikes.
Thanks so much for the summary. I can’t stand all the ra-ra in these events, so I appreciate you distilling it down to the most important points. I always wonder how many leather jackets Jensen owns!
As much as Nvidia collaborates with Microsoft, Microsoft and Open AI are actually scheming to take down Nvidia. They both resent relying on Nvidia for core AI software and hardware technology and the premiums they pay Nvidia. Margin envy is real.
Amazing though, but nothing new they just copying AWS with their Amazon Tranium and Inferentia Chips reducing the cost of LLM model training and inference up to about 50% of the cost.
@@TickerSymbolYOU I'm referring to Google products and services. Google Chrome is notorious for using a ton of computing power just to run the browser and the AI still sucks, the search results are ok for nowadays and Google is known for half ass-ing everything, with that being said the need for Google search engine gave it popularity, Google has a quantum computer buts its its not scalable for the real world and Google keeps throwing money at research and development and hasn't really made anything better then the Google search engine...youtube is the most useful thing they have rn. I don't think Google is gonna crash and burn but I think Google faces real competition that they slept on and now facing being a lagger and not a leader.
From where on M.Soft have created anything that works? You may take my view with a bag of salt but I wonder if I am the only one who thinks that they are either incapable or eilling to create good and working computer software. Just my opinion.
Nvidia is being pushed into a partnership here. They know they have everything to lose here but cant do anything. If they dont partner they lose market to AMD. If they partner they lose knowledge to Microsoft. They cant prevent MSFT from building their own chips. Hyperscalers will have good AI chips to replace Nvidia within 3 years or so.
Its too censored and restricted to be useful. Truth is not the goal. The bias answers, the refusal to answer questions. Its sad. Its better to run your own AI on your local computer. It had great potential but no one really is that excited at these versions.
Hey, look 2 money monsters together. When I see these two together, I see the cost of everything going up. Can you smell the money. And the smell of Anti-trust is in the air.
Meet Microsoft: Legacy office. Legacy cloud (copied AWS). No innovation. No social network. No hardware. Bought Open AI. Again no innovation. And now want to eat someone’s lunch again by getting into chips.
I can imagine Google Mgt. must be having an 'Oh Crap' moment.
This guy knows how to run a company. Definitely. His story is extremely clear. I love Satya. And Jensen is even more inspiring...
Couldn't agree more. Satya and Jensen are both awesome to follow.
Thanks for posting this. Whenever I hear Satya speak, I always think " I don't own enough MSFT"

why is nobody talking about how Microsoft just made Meta's Metaverse better than Meta made it.
Because it was never Meta's metaverse to begin with. There was a metaverse, then there was Facebook that changed their name so people think that metaverse is somehow theirs.
Microsoft and Nvidia are excellent partners. There is great synergy between the 2 companies and both will prosper as a result.
Agreed. One of the strongest partnerships on the planet, in my opinion.
Thanks for the supercut. It's interesting Microsoft is taking custom AI chips more seriously than custom Windows chips.
This is why America leads the world, because it is capable of attracting and retaining talents from all over the world.
This is more exciting than Game of Thrones.
Sad but true
Wow ! Thanks Alex for sharing this extremely important video.
Alex- Thanks for the intel video last week- we beat the crowd into an intc position

Jen should have given a honorary black jacket to Satya - both wearing similar shoes, pants, t-shirt. The jacket would have completed their outfit.

It’s kinda awkward when they talk to each other like that
Intel has barely been mentioned in this keynote.
And Jensen is a very compelling speaker. He just sucks you in.
Yep, great call. I definitely noticed that too.
Intel is probably in some trouble
I just wish I bough more Microsoft stock when it hit $311 this year..
wow.. goosebumps ..*repeat*
Amazing, mind blowing, things what nvidia and microsoft is doing and have the potential what they can do in the future
So will there be one custom ai that a company can make that can do tasks for the company and serve as a copilot?

i decided to invest into Microsoft after this video

It's all within our reach.. The only thing we need to actually reach it is, Money...
NVM AGI not within 12 months I would say AGI within 6 months now
That would be pretty fast. But I do believe we'll see real sparks of TRUE AGI in our lifetime.
One cannot ignore the use of Intel CPUs offcourse with nvidia GPUs. And in 2025 nvidia will also be customer of Intel for manufacturing!!!
Google is bleeding from the rear after this.

lovely, this is a goosebump moment
This moment is definitely making it into the history books on the timeline for AGI
Game changer !!
soo.. every company gonna have its own .. arm n a leg on we all have one to train soon .. god(th word) i hope im alive to experience that..
Feels like Microsoft is in bed with everybody
❤❤❤ thanks update boss
Greta partnership 🎉
I love Jensen to engage, artificial intelligence, how naïve yes you’ll engage it for the first second and then well it’s going to engage you.
love that thumbnail!

Rip google search engine that uses soo much computing power just to run
I don't know about RIP, but definitely getting disrupted in certain areas (like searches for in-app instructions)

all are benefit to TSMC
Jensen sounds like an ai voice
They created an Azure Cobalt chip, from a programming perspective that sounds archaic to me. My apologies to all the Cobalt programmers out there.
