About 20 years ago I made a similar sphere jig. It was my "multi-jaw chuck jig. It took some time to get it centered but once I did, it worked great. An "old timer" in our club showed me how to make it. We had two guys in the club who were in their 90's and still turning. I now have real four jawed chucks. I still have the jig and recently showed it to one of my kids who is interested in turning. Thanks for the video.
