The Irish Stud is a class facility, with legends living out their days, well worth a visit

God I love him. Lucky enough to be at both Cheltenham wins, both Christmas hurdles and to be at Leopardstown for the Flogas. Cried like a baby.

Flying over to Ireland in Feb for the DRF and will be stopping in to see this legend at the Irish stud. What a horse.

Faugheen was brilliant horse should have won more than he did, its a shame he got injured when he did would loved to have seem him over fences in his prime
this was great sure, part of the formidable team of vautour, un de sceaux, annie power and Douvan. All legends in their own right and i remember Arctic fire got me out of trouble with this lad im sure.

Was in leopardstown the day he won his chase and it was honestly like a final the roar when he crossed the line and into the winner enclosure brilliant he was a legend
Faugheen what a horse. Racing was lucky to have him he's one of those special horses that will be forever talked about. So gd to see him safe and well just love the machine

Faugheen the machine! For me he is in the top 5 national hunt horses in history, he had absolutely EVERYTHING a racehorse needs to be exceptional. He was a complete freak of a horse, before constitution hill there was this monster!. Happy retirement ☘️
Top 5 in National Hunt history !!! so he’s up there with Arkke, Red Rum, Kauto Star, Dawn Run , Night Nurse , Istabrac, Tiger Roll, to name 5 .. not close to top 5 imho.. maybe he sneaks into a top 20… maybe!

Patrick Mullins is the most interesting individual in the racing industry. His knowledge, insight, analysis, honesty and humour are all 👌🏻….Love listening to him! A proper gentleman too.

Used to work for Noel Quinlan,Peter Quinlan who brought Faugheen for 4k was his nephew,the family sold Faugheen for next to nothing after Peter died one evening when he went out to feed Faugheen and the stable roof collapsed on him killing him instantly,eventually the family enjoyed every race like he was one of the family.

This is a Special horse
At his peak he was unstoppable; not the same after his injury, tho still won plenty of great races

I REALLY WISH that the machine was still racing and would turn up next March to absolutely smash the overhyped Constitution Hill and shut up the Henderson faithful for good!!!
Guess I’ll have to just wait for Vauban to do the same instead..

Ah stop ruby complaining and moaning and be honest / truthful u where on proper machines that drank petrol every morning 😅 ah no but some them where stering jobs most not all , and look i know its in past and fogot about but annie pwer was a paddy power scam to this day he wont admitt it 😅 won the first 2 races before it and annie was the 3rd the trebblle 10000000 's of people had the treble hot favourites backed paddy power was conscious of been bankrupt and stone broke in next 25 minutes so we give rub an owl call and pray and beg him and bribe willie if the winning prize money is 150k ill give u 200k double it boys rich richie wont mind already had the double before big one 3 on row long story short rub accepted paddys phone call offer *the wife the kids the house all set up for life life changing buy few good horses 😅 hahha but i personally do belive tho that they where somthing up annie was still on the flipping bridle at ease 10 to 15 lenghts ahead clear paddy i know u well and i know life changing / bank rupt " luck " dnt come around like that they where brown envelopes from a mate who advertises and markets everthing ever since 2016 😅 a good freind of paddys
