I used to adore this movie as a kid. It slipped my mind until recently when Mara Wilson made a guest appearance in the Nostalgia Critic's review of the movie. I couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear, I was so thrilled. That and hearing this again for the first time in what feels like 10 years, it was the greatest joy a nostalgic loving person could ask for. R.I.P Robert Pastorelli. Thank you for being part of the good moments of my childhood.

I wish the full song was in the soundtrack.. whoever made this needs to do the entire Tale of
Two Cities musical with Oliver Greening and provide a soundtrack for our ears and listening pleasure. It is like an incomplete toy - of the 90s to just leave us all hanging with these little snippets in A Simple Wish only. (You know how in the 90s toys were intriguing, and yet they were missing features, like they *almost* could have been fully intriguing but were limited..this is like 90s toys!!!!).
