The one on the hill..love it. Can you also meet with developers and architects and tell us how much it is to develop a house..bungalow, duplex. Would love a video on that
I am glad you pointed out what I have always said to some of my friends. If you have been blessed to live here (Canada) and travelled the world, really nothing keeps you in the dusty and congested Kampala city, as you said a lot of what people in Uganda consider far from the city is really like the burbs for Toronto or any other major western metropolis. 50 clicks if the roads were good is only like a 30 minutes drive ...that's Vaughan in Toronto people there can Google map it up. Interestingly too if you ran into someone outside of Canada, and they live in Vaughan, they will say, "I am from Toronto" later they might say, "well Richmond hill". Only in Uganda are people so hang up on Kampala.
Yes! I definitely am one of those people hung up on Kampala, but even in Canada I needed to be in the heart of Toronto. Commuting to me is just too much but for sure, to each their own!
Katosi is where my farm is,I have 3 acres of land and on Easter Monday I planted 3 acres of water melon can't wait to get millions out of it,land is still cheap there imagine I bought 1000 us dollars
LOVE THIS VIDEO..great content. found you via spk. I relocated from NYC to Jamaica 4 years ago and got some land. anyway great job. wish u all the best.
I really enjoy your channel. I’d love to see an interview with an estate agent and a lawyer regarding land title. Whether foreigners can “freehold” their land instead of a lease. Also curious about farm yields. I’ll definitely be taking a tour soon
@@RachaelNalumu Thanks so much Rachael! I’m here in another country now and was so carried away with how beautiful the city was. I was prepared to buy property and then heard about foreigners getting denied citizenship. Culture is the most important thing when investing in a new country
@@georgemkay5980 Yes culture is sooo important! This makes me so sad to hear! I heard citizenship is possible by non Ugandans but at a price of $5000 USD !
Thank you for sharing the information.. I'm a foreigner living in the UK. I Would be interested in buying Land to do some farming.. would it be possible for me to buy land as freehold as a foreigner.. I would like to speak to your broker does he have a WhatsApp number.. I will be visiting Uganda next year.. continue the good work😎🙏🏾
Your presentation is alright, but to see you talking about price and not noticing that those price are way TOO up and you down play it as if its normal, therefore i guess you're missing the moral of investing. Guys this is one of the reasons why Real Estate in Uganda is not doing so well. People have exorbitant prices and they are waiting for some FOOL to come and pay, its like kissing frogs to get a Prince... by the way my real name ;) An investor like me, would not venture because for that same money one can buy land other places in the world that are far developed with water supply and electricity. I run a few survey on real estate in Kampala and guys those places are still there waiting to be sold, and the main reason they are still there is because the Ugandans rather take that money and build for themselves just like investors would do the same thing. Here in Germany you put a Land, House or any Estate to sell its gone in less than 2 months and the reason for that is, people can see VALUE for themselves than what these people in Uganda are trying to fool someone with. USD 19K an acre you can get those ones in some states in America. So I think there is nothing exciting about prices in Land when talking about Uganda, Kololo got prices like its Beverly hills in CA... Guys please dont for get that land pricing in UG is just EXORBITANT. Keep doing your video and if you feel offended I'm sorry.
No offence taken at all. And you’re actually right. I just showcase what’s available and whatever price is the going rate. Is the going rate too high? Probably. Can someone come and negotiate and find the best plot for them at a price that makes sense for them? Definitely. All I do is show what’s around and that Uganda is a beautiful place worth investing but as a viewer you need to do YOUR due diligence, research and connect with people. There’s plenty of affordable land in Uganda, feel free to watch my other videos on other areas & future ones to come ☺️
@@RachaelNalumu Yes 😊 it's always a point of negotiation, and I got news how brokers will hype up the price to get more out of a deal which is well known. To find HONEST people in RE in UG now that's a challenge. Best to do is bank sales but I will advise anyone to stay away from real estate agents and just deal with a few that are recommended. Uganda is OMG beautiful and I fell in love with it, so besides the pandemic I visit 3 to 4 times a year. I personally LOVE Uganda MINUS KAMPALA, LOL Bad air and traffic jam
