Whether you've just started your PMD journey or you're coming back to it after many hours of one of the best Pokémon stories ever, this song is sure to invoke some nostalgic emotions within you. Explorers of Sky recently reached its 13th anniversary and this cover is my small way of celebrating it.

God I love mystery dungeon music so much, some of the best use of motifs in VGM. I love the soft, water-droplet type sounds you're getting here - super appropriate for a beach theme haha

I really love how warm your marimba playing is! What kind of mallet are you using for the low/bass marimba if I may ask?
Thank you! I'm happy to talk about my mallets, they're Blake Tyson BT9 mallets. I used those and a pair of the BT22 mallets for a 4-mallet solo on my senior recital (composed by Tyson) and they've become staples in my mallet bag ever since. Maybe I should make a video going through all my mallets sometime, even if it ends up being 30+ minutes long haha.

PMD2 is one of my favorite Pokémon games ever and yes that does include main series titles. I wish there would be an official release of its soundtrack so it could get the appreciation it deserves... Maybe someday... 😢

Also, just a quick question. Do you take suggestions? Cause I've fallen in love with the sand canyon 1 theme from kirbys dreamland 3. It just has a derpy feel to it which i love!

The toy piano and glock sit so nicely on top of the warm marimbas. Such a relaxing sound throughout!

Ahhh thank you so much! PMD games look like sweet and innocent fun, but the stories are truly amazing and, in my opinion, better than any of the main series games' stories. I can't recommend them enough!
