Informing the various activities of the government and promoting
goodwill among the citizens are essential for the smooth sail of a
government. The Public Relations department is entrusted with
the task of telling people about a government and its programmes.
IPRD has an organisational set up to prepare and distribute
government press releases, media handbook, and other
government publicity books and brochures. They also
publish two magazines, Janapatham and Kerala Calling.
