Nice video. And to see the special designed articulated Eurotram rolling stock with the supershort driver's module. More famous from Strasbourg.

You should visit (in this, or next year, depending on your decision):
    1. Krakow. They expanded the network (opened a section between Łagiewniki SKA and Kurdwanów P+R. They also introduced new rolling stock, e.g. Stadler Tangoes.
    2. Warsaw. They expanded red line of metro to Młynów and they are also changing a rolling stock, introducing Hyundai Rotems.
    3. Lublin. You should visit this city, as this city has second longest (and second oldest) trolleybus network in Poland.
    4. Białystok. You don't know too much about this city, but this city has also own public transit, operated by three companies: KPK. KZK and KPKM.
    5. Zakopane. This city launched a public transit in 2016, it is operated by Tesko (prior to 2016, they operated a garbage truck/lorry service, acronym for Tatrzańska Komunalna Grupa Kapitałowa, which means Tatra Municipal Capital Group) and it has two lines: 11 and 14, serviced by 5 Solaris Alpinoes 8.9 Electric (one ex-Winterthur, rolling stock number 006). Outside of that, they also have minibuses operated by many companies, funicular to Gubałówka and cable cars to Kasprowy Wierch (both operated by PKL).

Interesting from an infrastructure standpoint, as I read most of it was built on abandoned rail lines. The frustrating part of this system is the low frequency of service--once every 15-30 minutes on all lines.

Actually that is incorrect: the yellow line has frequencies of every 6 minutes and will be of every 3 from next year onwards. Also the trunk line has frequencies of every 3 to 4 minutes but, since it has many branches, those have less frequencies yes. But its usually every 10 minutes, not 15-30 minutes.
The 2 new lines being built will have frequencies of every 5 minutes but CBTC, enabling frequencies of every 3 minutes easily

I guess the closest thing is really "LRT" as the North Americans like to call it, here in Portugal it's more commonly called "Metro Ligeiro", or "Light Metro".

@@sergiofreitas9368in Brazil we call light rail vehicle LRV
