Hi! I need help. Ive been natural for exactly one year. I'm 15 and i really want to try this. I have 4b (leaning a little towards 4a) afro-y hair. Im scared of using apple cider vinegar so i was planning on just using water and adding castor and other oils. Do you think that would work?

This stuff is the TRUTH. It helped me to discover my curls. I replaced shampoo with this mask, bc i feel like its already super clean after using it. after I use the mask i love how my hair takes in moisture is sooo much easier. I dont have to pack on product so my hair can feel moisturized.

I agree but someone told me to be careful with using this so often. I'm curious, do you cowash? & only use this mask when you want a deep cleanse on the hair and scalp?
Kailynn you just don’t use shampoo. the mask is already so cleansing that you just need conditioner after

i feel like all the comments are from over a year ago, i’m so late 😭 but this mask works amazingly… i’m getting knotless braids tomorrow and i just took out my cornrows that i’ve been wearing under wigs for over a month and my curls have NEVER looked as good as they did after using this. i just finished detangling and like someone else said, my hair has never felt so light. this is the truth. i almost wanna cancel my appt tomorrow and rock my natural hair 😭

@@jakekinsey8984 I think that depends on you. When i do it I leave it on for about 15-20mins with a bag and a cap to keep the heat in. But that's just me idk how others do it.

I just did a clay mask and i swear to GOD it was like i had in a whole new head of hair. My hair so extremely soft, the softest its ever been, extremely defined. My hair is usualy very frizzy and dry looking, even when its wet, but it was really defined and almost laid flag on my head. And super shiny. I have jet black hair yet its never looked this black.
It also felt like my hair was really relaxed. Like idk usually its very frizzy and dry looking, but it was soooo managable and curly. Almost like i had put a texturizer in it. 100% recommended to all women with curly hair.
when you shower are you supposed to shampoo and condition? or just use hot water to rinse it out?
adjxaaa sorry im so late, but i rinsed it all out with warm water, then conditioned my hair, then cold rinse.
I FINALLY found the answer to my question I bought this clay mask and I didn’t know if I rinsed then shampoo or go straight to a conditioner thank you ladies💕💕

Awesome video, but the next time that you do use the clay try applying heat to it instead of letting it harden. The heat can be a hooded dryer for a plastic bag or a beanie but something that will insulate the heat and keep it. I got the best results from doing it this way compared to letting it air dry.

Try the cocoa creme clay wash from Chocolate Kinks and Kurls. Save the hassle of mixing this yourself. They’re clay wash is the bomb. Very moisturizing, clarifying, and crazy curl definition. Smells like chocolate too.

Whenever I use this my hair feels light and bouncy. It helps with my face too, just make sure not to use it too often and too long bc it can dry ur hair !!

I have 2c/3a hair and after using this mask my waves and curls were so defined. Usually I have to add some defining cream or gel but my hair was naturally defined with this. Definitely going to be using this more often and especially because I have scalp psoriasis and it helped balance the ph of my scalp.

Oh! That's odd. When I did mine I did it with dry hair because the article I read and saw said don't do it on damp or wet hair to make sure it's done on Dry hair lol.

You can find it at your local Whole Foods too. If your impatient like me. They usually have like 3 sizes to choose from. And it’s not expensive at all.

Up mf dateeee: My mask never harden but some how was absorbed into my hair // when I went to rinse it out there wasn’t much left but my curls were poppin !!!!!! And after a conditioning session (I didn’t deep condition just regular conditioner and tea tree oil) my hair was sooo soft and soo manageable then after I moistured OMG Y’all this mask is the TRUTH// Reply if you want to know all the things I used in my mask because I didn’t do what she did exactly but similar I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
