I love how a lot of effort is put into fixing something we in Australia dump machines for a little scratch, keep up the good work your saving the environment at the same time thanks for the video.
This machine had a long, tough life. Some parts had been partially consumed by rust. In many countries machins younger and better looking are trashed for cosmetics or just upgrading desires. Your dedication along with such proffessional and skilled labor are a treasure to cherish and admire
Great. Thanks for your effort. This is really instructive. I would paint the rusted part and use vinegar to eat the stone. I would absolutely clean the heating element before putting in place by dropping it in vinegar and wait to disolve (react). Well not its time to see why my washing mashine drum doenst turn. 🙂
Universal circuit board, seized bearing, a slowly disintegrating chassis, no matter what that machine is just simply not allowed to die ! All joke aside this is a very good and educational video. In my home all appliances are cheap broken ones I've bought from FB marketplace for peanuts and mended mended myself from youtube and other online tutorials, but in Europe this kind of repair on such worn down machine wouldn't be viable anymore.
Thumb up. You deserve it mate. Have you got any written book about the Washing Machine Appliances? The PCB & its electrical correct connections are the most important things to understand. Thanks in advance.

Simply WOW! What an excellent video with a clear step by step guide on how to dismantle the appliance. Many thanks.
Good work
Nice to see that we all struggle the same on removing a drum from a washer, no matter where in the world we live
That's true

What model of hitachi is
Il buy a new one
So much rust. Was that machine used outside?
No, it was used inside. I don't get why it got so much rust
avant de remonter la machine il aurait fallu nettoyé correctement le tambour en ôtant toutes les taches blanches de calcaire.
ces taches n’étaient pas trop importantes car elles n’allaient pas interrompre le fonctionnement du tambour.
