JCVD, i got em all. Mediabooks and Steelbooks. Learned the splits + Karate and Kickboxing and Weightlifting because of him. Bloodsport masterpiece of course. Hard Target i had the uk blu cuz it was cut for a long time here in germany. Then switched to steelbook and then to the mediabook. Now finally i have the 4k ultimate edition just like cyborg. Man its such a great time to be a van damme fan in germany 😂🎉
Guy's there is a 4K Collector's Edition release last year by Universal in the UK. The transfer is amazing from Universal. No extras, but comes with Poster, Postcards, booklet, Hard box and Steelbook.
The Universal release doesn't use the same transfer as the Kino? Hard Target has three different transfers??? This film is legendary.
Good thing I didn’t get the kino I’m a fan of this movie John Woo. I will hold out for the German.
Well after some research apparently this suffers from the same issue as the early kino 4k with audio. Left and right channels are swapped. Plaion is currently looking into it.
Don't sleep on the UK steelbook. Same goes for Bloodsport.
Totally underrated label. Check out the new release of The Raid ! Comes in a beautiful box as well 💪
Weird no mention the German release has the longer Workprint cut too and not just the R rated cut the Kino Lorber has.

Kino scrubbed and brightened my powerful mullet thus loosing its fine details. German 4k all the way!
Does the German one play in the US or do you have to have one of those region free players?
Both 4K, so region-free (will play on US players). All 4Ks are (rarely there's an odd one that isn't), but the blu that accompanies it most likely is region locked to B.
