Thanks buddy. I always wanted to own a record store and a cafe. And I always thought Electric Cafe would be a good name for a cafe that also had a record store. Hence the name of the channel. Then I got bored and had a graphics friend put my face as a Kraftwerk character like on the cover :).
Very cool! I am mostly going over music from 1983 when I was 7 years old and first started collecting music until 2001 when I was 25. By 2026 when I hit 50 I hope to start doing the last 25 years. So I'm sure you will like a lot of music i cover if you like those bands. Cheers
When I have a plane flight and need to close my eyes and zone into a trance, I'll put in Snivilisation. The "frying" sound when "Forever" dissolves into "I Wish I had Duck Feet" is epic. It's an underrated record.
Agreed! That's my favorite part too. I put Forever in my top 5 Orbital songs. And I Wish i Had Duck Feet would be in my top 10 I am pretty sure as well. Nice one!
I agree that middle of nowhere and the altogether felt shallow, but i think blue album was good, especially "You Lot" and "One Perfect Sunrise". Optical Delusion has Dirty Rat, which is pretty good. Check out that video. (with Sleaford Mods)
Thank for the recommendation. I remember on Discogs in the electronic forums (I think it was 2003 when Blue came out), a lot of people gave it good reviews. I will check it tonight!
Ya Marlin, Or swordfish I was thinking after watching the video back. Which would make sense as why would a fish have a sword attached to its snout? lol
