Ooo... Stylefile Markers, they look really interesting and cool. Excellent Magazine and Sketchbook they've had. I would love to see a sketchbook tour, all of your drawings are amazing 😍! How much does the Stylefiles Markers cost for different sets? I've also bought my very first Ohuhu Markers a 60 set and it's coming this Wednesday, I'm so excited to try them out 😁😁😁
So glad you like them! I might do some tours then! ❤️😳 the price is the double of Ohuhu, but you can go their website, they have some distributors all over the world. 😬❤️
@@kyara_arts Oh, but those Stylefile Markers are great! But Ohuhu are great since the price are decent and affordable. I can't wait the sketchbook tour!😀
Omg yes, you colored the piece I voted on. Those feathers turned out so beautiful. I had no idea Stylefile markers came first, they do look so similar. And yes to a blond-haired Howl. :)
So happy you like the version finished! ^_^ The feathers is what i loved coloring - i am coloring the second drawing and know i am tired of them XD i should have done a break from feathers haha! blond haired Howl will arrive!
Ohuhu markers are not really Stylefilemarker Ripoffs but both Companies using the same factory and having the same ink in them. The only difference I see is their brushnips (Stylefile has the better ones) and Ohuhus color range. Which is both a good and a bad thing because you can refill ohuhus with the stylemarker ink and bad because Ohuhu whole color range is 200 and Stylefile has only 100 refills.
If they are or not, like i said on the video, does not matter to me :D i love all markers! But Ohuhu didn't had this design before when they appeared in 2017, they were changed and they are super similar to Stylefile now. Actually not sure how many colors stylefile has, but the ink is not the same as Ohuhu. I feel Stylefile can have a blending better than Ohuhu because of the saturation and the ink seems more "runny" ^^ but i'll be doing a video comparing both!
Amazing Turnout. I love Howl's Moving Castle and lot of the others. Princess Mononoke was one of my absolute favorites. I love watching your coloring process, it is very interesting to see and inspiring.
thank you for this review and your drawing looks beautiful! i wanted to ask if you know if the stylefile brush nibs would fit the ohuhu markers? i know that you can reverse the ohuhu nibs once they fray, but it still would be nice to know if there are existing compatible spare nibs. i know some of the colours are the same, so you can refill ohuhu markers with stylefile refills which is nice.
I really like Stylefile markers. Their brush tips are similar to Ohuhus, but much softer and more flexible. They also feel softer. They glide over the paper with no scratching. Ohuhus feel very scratchy in comparison. I don't like them. Their "brush nib" is very stiff and it's impossible to color bigger areas with them, or create proper blends. I just returned my set of 48 Ohuhu markers because using them was very unenjoyable.
Great as usual! It's really interesting to learn more about the marker and all that. I had no idea about the smell. Reminds me of when I started watching a certain spray painting artist and he went over how he chooses cans and the paper and all that. It's Interesting. My favorite movie is chihiro, but there are a ton I haven't seen just yet. I have Kiki but didn't have the time to watch it yet. (likewise still have 3 of your videos to watch!)
Thank for your video. this is very interessant and I love your fan art of Howl's moving Castel. I love Gibli studio and my favourites film of them are Spirit away, My neighbours Totoro and Laputa, the Castle in the sky. I would like to see you drawing an illustration of Spirit Away or Laputa Castle with your style. I think it will be very beautiful !
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! My next video is going to be one more from How'ls Moving Castle but i started on a Spirited Away :D can't wait !
Ahhh this came out really good. I can only imagine how long it had to take. Aren’t you worried about your markers dying out doing these big pieces. Also with all the layering you have to have a piece of paper in between the papers right? I love studio ghibli movies. My all time favorite is howls moving castle. However my first was actually Secret world of Arriety. I love to see screen cap drawings of howl tho. Maybe you can do one from Ponyo? Or Kiki delivery service! Great work as always. I would love a tour one day. Haha can’t lie I definitely got hooked by your thumbnail title. I’m an avid Ohuhu user. It was my first alcohol based markers set and I love them. They’re affordable and they blend smoothly. I’ve yet to have a problem with them but I’ll admit I wish they did have refills or at least single markers. I agree that the other markers are very similar to Ohuhu. ESP the colors hmm 🤔 I may have to give them a try. 😄 sorry for the long comment. Have a awesome week
I usually don't get worried about the markers because i have refills and i can see if the pen is full or not with the strokes ( but at the moment i am doing a second piece of Howl's Moving Castle and now i know the ink of one of the markers is getting to 20% so i have to take more time and be more careful so i can finish xD - is not COPIC so i don't have refills for Stylefile Markers) I think Arriety was the last one i watched... i am thinking of doing one of each movie because it's super inspiring ^_^ I will also want to do Ponyo
If ohuhu really wanted to copy a marker they should’ve copied the brush bib. That’s the only turn off for me, it’s just too thick of a fine tip and it doesn’t bend really easy. It’s really hard to do hair with those markers.
Agreed. I just tested the Ohuhu's. Coloring with them feels horrible. The so-called "brush nib" is so firm and unflexible, I instantly returned them. I hated them. I don't understand all the hype over these markers. Even my much cheaper Chotune markers (chinese brand on A-zon) have a softer brush nib than Ohuhus.
@@kyara_arts Well, they shouldn't sell those old ones then. I'll buy a bigger set on prime day to see if I really had a set from an old production. Or I'll just order a few of their replacement brush nibs.

No. they don't use the same ink. They just use similar barrels. The Stylefile ink has a totally different smell. The colors also look different.
Amazing Turnout. I love Howl's Moving Castle and lot of the others. Princess Mononoke was one of my absolute favorites. I love watching your coloring process, it is very interesting to see and inspiring.

Thinking of both together i also love Stylefile better 🫶🏻🔥
Yeah sketchbook tour!! And howls moving castle is also my favorite ghibli movie too ☺️
Yey!!!

Yeah, no one talks about the smell, but the alchool is really intense ^^;
Chihiro will be the next movie i will do a screencap :D

I totally agree on the brush tip! Stylefile marker has such a nice tip and ohuhu some of them are stiff, dunno why!

I got some new ones and i think they resolved the issue, maybe depends of the batch of prodution, not entirely sure 😅

I have both and they're pretty good. I love them both too but ohuhu is cheaper
I also have their sketchbooks, they have an a5, a4 and a square one.
Yeah Ohuhu is cheaper and also does a good job. ^_^
I am in love with their sketchbooks, omgah ouo::
@@kyara_arts me too 🥰
