i'm not a big fan of any religion....
but people's faith and conviction is always something powerful to witness... the good that comes from it all...as well as the destruction.
I would love to witness this peaceful prayer authentically someday...it seems truly beautiful.

Alhamdulillah. I am a recent convert to Islam from Utah. I see the same expression on her face, and hear the same tremblings in her voice, as I have felt reflected in my own face and voice. Subhan Allah! Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; the Merciful, the Compassionate. :-D

Allahu Akbar, When I was in Istanbul, Turkey this summer visiting my fathers side of my family. I was a troubled with so many problems in my life, when i went to the mosque and i heard the Call to prayer, I also felt it in my heart, like i was being saved. It was one of the most breathtaking feelings ever. I became more into Islam and found inner peace. I really discovered who i am really.

I'm a Christian in Canada and to me, this is one of the most beautiful and reverent acts I've ever witnessed.
Everything in the whole city stops for prayer, that to me, is the epitome of unity.
Something this western culture could take a lesson from.
Kudos Islam, I am in awe.

I am a Christian who lived in the Middle East for 11 years (Syria, Kuwait, Bahrain)... One of the things I miss most about the Middle East is the call to prayer. It is truly an amazing thing. Very very touching!

Such a nice, genuine and radiant lady. She breaks her composure and just allows herself to be in the moment. Kind of him to show that to her that also. Moving to see and hear. Good people are everywhere in the world.

I visited a friend in Indonesia in 2000 for 6 weeks and I can assure you that the 4AM call to prayer was anything but beautiful.
First what they are "singing" out of the speakers could hardly be called music. With all the conflicting calls creating a discordant, dissonant mess of the morning, it truly sounded like the demons of Hell were being unleashed at that very moment! This reporter is NOT a Christian.

You'll have to define Christianity to call it stupid. The things you've listed have nothing to do with Christianity. A CHRISTian is someone who follows the teachings of Christ, anyone can say there Christian but it doesn't make it so. "and 3 Gods" that shows you have limited understanding on what the Trinity of God means, We dont worship 3 God's we worship One (Elohym, plural yet singular) represented in 3 ways.

Annie Besant, The Life and Teachings of Muhammad,
"It is impossible for anyone who studies the life and character of the great Prophet of Arabia, who knows how he taught and how he lived, to feel anything but reverence for that mighty Prophet, one of the great messengers of the Supreme. And although in what I put to you I shall say many things which may be familiar to many, yet I myself feel whenever I re-read them,a new way of admiration,a new sense of reverence for that mighty Arabian teacher."

Our goodnes is filthy stinky rags in the eyes of God, it is impossible for a good person to earn his way to heaven, if we could earn our way to heaven by our own deeds then Jesus did not need to die and be raised from death for our attonment. Eternal life is a free gift from God, all we have to do is ask Jesus to forgive us, become Lord of our life and turn from sin. The good works Christians do is not for rewards, but out of love for the Father/

  • @Deocharlesc

To be clear, Jesus is not God in Christianity. Jesus is the shepherd, the bridge or the only example to reach God, Jesus is the Way, the Truth and Life. He is more than a prophet and totally sinless. Willing to carry all your trouble and problems with him, with love, harmless and protected just like a shepherd. Truly that is the only way.

The reason I ask is because I would rather not see the disrespect and intolerance that is happening on these comment pages, and comments here should only be relevant to the actual video. Please let me know, peace be upon you, and have a good night

"Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?"

Word "Islam" is derived from Arabic word "salam" which means "peace".
"Islam means getting peace by submitting one's will to the one who created us. So word "Islam" doesn't means only "submission".

Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."
Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority".
Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…"
