I envy women that don't have breast symptoms pre-period. Mine get sickeningly sore. Even worse when my nips join in and get super sore, their humour being that they also stay stiff as rock, so they get jostled way more. The frustrating part being that if I don't keep on a bra of some nature during that time, I struggle, but when I do, I struggle too. I can't win with 'the girls' lol

Man I remember this process and the stick buying, nerves and waiting and disappointment feeling. I found out later I had blocked tubes but man what a ride is the peeing on a stick journey especially when you are intentionally trying to conceive and further when you are paying for all of the procedures to make it happen. I’m sure it’s just as tough for people doing it the old school way also but the whole am i or aren’t I is insanity making. The stick companies have you wrapped around their financial fingers when in that time of life. So glad your mum was nearby to hold your hand emotionally speaking.

I got my BFP at 11DPO. Tested at 9DPO with a digital test and it was negative... So, so glad I had refused the trigger because I knew the minute I saw a faint line that the test at 9DPO had been wrong! The 2 week wait (well... 11-day wait for me) was hard enough without also having to wonder if the line was from pregnancy or from the trigger! So glad this worked out for you eventually!♡

I know exactly when I conceived so it's easy for me to guess when you did as well. I know this video is a year old and I’ve seen spoilers because I follow you. But I’m wanting to watch the full series. So when I was doing IUI the doctors told me if I was going to test for pregnancy not to do so until 2 weeks after the IUI procedure. I also read online and tested myself at home with one of the strip tests that you can still test positive from the Trigger shot up to 12 days post shot, that was true for me. Just wanted to let people know that too.

When I started doing iui I was totally that woman.... who sticks things in a book. Bought myself a bullet journal, charted everything (medication, tests, blood draws, moods, etc). Took 2 rounds of iui and then a round of ivf. I eventually got pregnant through the ivf and continued the journal through my first trimester. It's interesting to look back through with my toddler sitting beside me. Your videos are the equivalent for you. Also line eyes... horrible. I never did get a positive test. My little guy had such low levels they didn't show until the blood test.

I must admit when I was younger and actively trying for babies we didn't have as much knowledge or technology for testing. I recall suspecting I could be pregnant as I was one day late for my period and looking at the pregnancy tests in the pharmacy, the instructions were like a chemistry experiment. So, I took my urine in an empty pill bottle to the local pharmacy instead. I had to wait until after they closed for lunch for my results. The pharmacist handed me a piece of paper with a cross sign circled in biro, and I'm like, "what does that mean?" Nine months later I definitely found out!!

I feel like logic goes out the window when you're excited for something or want something bad enough. Like, logically, the two weaker tests when they stopped picking up the line that should be the definite sign that you aren't pregnant even though the two stronger tests are showing faint positives - because the chemical has decreased enough for the weaker test to not catch it...
But because you were so excited, you were ignoring the logic and going for the ones that told you what you wanted to see.
