Love the looks of my 98’s, but the 97/98 full air unit makes them feel so clunky compared to, say, 95’s
I’ve never seen these in person, from photos they look so nice. To me they’ve always felt like a less known 97’. So underrated

Exactly, this shoe slept on I don’t know 🤷♂️ why??? When these were brought back in 2014 I bought 4 Pairs of the OG Color(White/Grey/Volt) they were on sale at Jimmy Jazz and I scooped them up! And as far the Nike Air Max 96, I got them as well, lmao 😆 the Black/Purple and the Scream Green for dirt cheap when everyone was on the Air Max 97 I picked them up on eBay for dirt cheap. I don’t know 🤷♂️ what’s wrong with modern day Sneakerhead’s of this era. I’ve been doing this since 2003 and the 90’s had REAL GEMS 💎!!!!!!

The AM98 is great. For me I like how wide it is without feeling loose. The 97 air bubble is my favorite so that combined with a more comfy upper works great

This my favorite model by far the most comfortable & best fitting got the Tour Yellow OG but the OG Gundam's man I still need them hoes but retail I ain't paying premium for them great video by the way

98s are super sick! Because of the mesh they are way more comfortable than the 97s. Also the Gundam Colorway is one of my faves of all time. What a great shoe!
I bought my first pair of 98s at a goodwill in perfect condition (real) and since then i fell in love with the design. Definitely most underrated model

I'm an old school sneaker head. I was a fan of the 95s and 97s since release, but always hated the 98s. 95s and 97s have a nice symmetry to them while 98s look like they placed patches and parts of various shoes together.
I have some friends who feel the same way about the 98s’. Personally I like them but I’m definitely more into the 95s and 97s 😎
I felt the same way about the 98 aesthetic until I started copping them under retail earlier this year. What made me change my mind is they feel a little better on feet (roomier/taller) for me than say the 97s. Great to see the 98 get a little love.
@@EdsHead Bro I always wanted the 95, 97, and 98 also the Plus Tn. I have a pair of LV8 95 and bloody love them. Can't find any of the other AM's I / we mentioned for a fair price. To put it short, I paid under retail for the barely used still new pair of 95.

I own a lot of sneakers. Whiles the AM95 is aesthetically my favorite in the series, the AM98 is in the top 5 most comfortable sneaker I had ever worn.

Oh, memory lane...I ran the '98 and '99 L.A. Marathon with the Air Max 96 OG. Very light and comfortable shoe. I wonder what's available now that's comparable.

Great Video! Facts that since the lack of Swoosh branding on the air max 95, Siergo Lozano has put all the branding like “AIR” and small Swooshes all over the shoes randomly and it turned out perfect on the shoes.

Love the thumbnail. Honestly, Nike and anime play together more often than you might think. The Jordan 6 is in Slam Dunk! and the Airmax 95 is in Yugioh(renamed the Air Muscle of course.)

those 90’s Air Max are interesting. Air Max 95, Air Max 97, Air Max Plus TN and Air Max Tailwind 4. These are all dope shoes for sure. But I’m gonna have to say i like the Tailwind 4 the best followed by the Air Max Plus TN.
The 98s(white/yellow/blue shown on feet in this video) are my most recent purchase in my mission to own all of my old favorites. I have the air max 1's, 90's, 95s, 96s & 98s, as well as the LTD 3s and plus TNs...I'm still looking for the perfect 97 colorway
