AMC actuary has the least on that theater. They made a deal with Disney back in 95 i believe to take over this theater if they were allowed to open a theater in downtown Disney. A company called Front porch theaters incorporated is planning on taking the proper over once the least that AMC has ends on October 31st. The new. Company wants to completely renovate and have one theatre showing old school movies and use the other theater for comedy shows, concerts and local events. So be on the lookout for something to happen to this place by the end of the year.

I don’t like big lot lands, because I don’t like to deal with lawns and garden. All I care is the interiors living spaces. I wouldn’t step outside because bugs will eat me alive. I like La Jolla in San Diego,
I wish I could live in Celebration. I have always loved it from the first day Mr Disney expressed his vision for it. Just being out of the clutches of DeSantis and his insanity would be worth the cost if I could afford it with Florida's economy the way it is today for average citizens.
What do you think the Canopy series will go for? Apparently they are really holding on to those 70 foot lots. Sales seem pretty low after 2 months don’t they?
I think they shot high on some of these prices. The markets catching up though. The townhome seem to be selling extremely well. Last I checked they were 70 sales in 3ish months. Not too bad.
Thanks for the response! It seems like they always have quick move ins available. Think at one point I saw it up to 15 or 20. Maybe my expectations are just super high after all the build up!

Same. Sign of the times. It’ll swing back. They’re not the only ones. Some builders are paying .25% instead of the 2-3% we’ve seen in the past. At first I was upset. Then I realized, I’ll just have to help a lot more people! The market will cool off and then they’ll (all builders) will be stopping by my office with bagels and pamphlets 🤷🏻♂️😂

What type of people actually live there people that work at Starbucks on the retailers can I afford to live there what kind of programs they have like the homeless they have a homeless shelter there do you have a soup kitchens and things like that can you average person live there born in Florida myself the issue is the homes while live in Palm Beach County aren’t built for people like me who live here and born here they jack the prices up for people from New York and New Jersey to come down the people that live in born here and work here can’t even for the house is here so what type of people live in celebrations what jobs they have

Is anybody from Disney involved with Island Village, design or architectural wise? If not, then it’s not really Celebration if you ask me, just my opinion though. Hopefully they can make the new section just as charming as the old downtown area. But, I know there will be another Starbucks 😂
Hey Cory. Great question. Disney still has somebody on the architectural review committee. Meaning that the pattern book and overall design is reviewed and approved by Disney.
Here's another, true, blanket statement. Disney did their own zoning regulations, their own construction standards and their own building inspections. 25-year-old homes may have needed new roofs 50 years ago, but they shouldn't need new roofs and windows after 25 years in the 21st century. Windows, really? Disney washed their hands of Celebration for good reason.
Rob, I’m not sure how long you’ve owned a house in Florida, but I haven’t met one homeowner that’s kept a roof for longer than 25 years. Warranty/defects might go to 50 years, but the Florida weather beats them up pretty bad.

I hope they'll be able to reopen the Celebration Theater,a non profit is trying to reopen it.I heard it's been closed for about 10 years.
I prefer Hallandale Beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities and a good nightlife.

That’s correct. Other than the Melia condo-hotel on 192. Which is technically Celebration.
