Think we would be nuts to not take Werner for the price even if we bring someone else in. A lot of people getting on Kulu's back, people forgetting the shift he put in after the suspensions and injuries after that Chelsea game.
The shift that was not good enough, and the price you mentioned is 165k a week in wage. The short answer is no, longer answer is you have lost sight of quality we need.
@zhilong that’s his current contract, the price would be much lower than that.
The simple fact about Kulu that he does not fit in with the style of Ange's attacking football, Ange has always been very clear that he wants his WIDE players to play WIDE, Kulu cuts back into the centre too many times and does do this most of the time does he?
@@nevillemignot1681 He has always said his preferred is Cam have him and Maddison fighting for that position. Bring in a RW, think a lot of people are saying to sell 7/8 players and bring in the same amount in and that's just not going to happen in one summer.
Check out jun-ho from stoke as a cheap young option rather then Werner.
We've been rebuilding since 1961 optimism is drifting away 😂
We hope 🙏🤞
Troll, much?
Not sure what you are on about firdt timd in history we havent won a major title in a 10 yr period
@@charles_prestonnot as much as you do
@@zhilong If you don't like Spurs, sod off. Simple. Adios!
Don’t agree with Ange seeing Son as our number 9. Our 2 most crucial transfers we need are a number 6 and number 9. The difference son made when he was wide against Liverpool in them last 20 minutes shows he’s a winger
If we had wingers that could beat their man 1vs 1 consistently son would work as a 9
You're half right. While one can make an argument that Son makes a better winger than a striker, Son plays best when he cuts inside as a winger but Ange needs the traditional winger that hugs the line. Sonny's days as that winger who beats his men with his dribble from wide is long gone. What Sonny does best and what Ange needs aren't the same.
If son plays no 9, he doesnt get good service. Our wingers doesnt have final pass in them. But i feel like we should cross more.
@@cvg1198 I agree with this tbf but I still feel like we need a hold up number 9, somebody to bring others into the game. Toney would be perfect for us in my opinion. Can never see us signing him though
Our most crucial transfers are 2 proper wingers and a DM. We need a 9 but not urgently. We look flat because our wingers are not good enough
Calafiori would also a be a good pickup for team chemistry. Particularly with Vic and Udogie, we could see the Italian connection strengthen
I think deki becomes a kind of utility player, good enough to play in a few positions so can come in for injured players, or for resting players, and gives us that option of playing differently to how we normally do if we need to change things up occasionally.
The rebuild begin can only begin successively after the removal of our none owner chairman who has personally chosen the majority of incoming players to the club during the 23-season Enic era. This has resulted in Levy having the worst trophy per season percentage stats of any THFC chairman since World War Two...
For me kulu isint up to the challenge and needs to go we need 2 top top wingers
Solomon has played like 3 games..doesn't he deserve a chance..Warner has played more games..Solomon reminds me of another arron lennon
💯 think we miss his pace and also Perisic crossing we seems to have forgotten them
@@gudbeatzent4665 Perisic contract is up in the summer & he's injured at least that long, I think he's going back to Croatia.
He needs to go back to the IDF!!
Fulham fan here..Solomon is a great impact player but couldn't hold a first team place in our team..not a top 6 player
@@gudbeatzent4665what pace? His thing is dribble, he is not that fast.
Need some more goal scorers in particular from midfield, real problem recently. All top teams have midfielders who score….
Sim ballin it out with the knowledge, great show guys, love the contentCOYS!!!
Werner is not good enough, he may come cheap but his wages are around 170k a week and that's a heavy pachet!
Yep if people actually look at his goals and assists it's easy to see they are low quality. Mid table player.
Have you noticed that we haven’t created much since Werner got injured?
Honestly just noticed 😭
I think its more the case of a winger who can take on his man
Yes, Kulu has a lot of quality. Unfortunately that doesn't include getting to the line (or close) and hitting low crosses; or getting to finishing position in the box when a cross is whipped in by the other winger.
If we are going to hang onto players like Deki and Bissouma because they had 10 good games a year or so ago then we will never close that gap between us and top 2.
Timo is quite often our most effective attacker. For 15M. We'll keep everyone else for 5 times that amount but not him? He's got super sub written all over him
The most 3 important focus players we need this transfer window is a striker, a creative midfielder and a number 6. We need more potebntcy and creativity up front as we keep looking impotent
That's because we have been missing Udogie and Maddison out of form
agreed with everything beside Soloman, politics aside, we have only watched him play a few games during honeymoon, and those games he was useful somehow, can observe for another season, but agree that he'll likely be a let down
Talking about Solomon only doing well against Burnley and Sheffield United, tbh we do better against top teams anyway so having players who are actually good against the lower teams seems valuable to me atm
Love 'ya boys. Keep popping off
Where’s Bergvall?
Good question
They plan to loan him out.
Bergvall will be part of the main squad next year and I'm sure he will used with the additional games next season
This is like coronation Street. The same soap opera that's been airing for 60 years
Not a Tottenham fan but love the channel. For a realistic top 4 run you need about 6 quality players in and with Levy that’s at least 3 transfer windows.
I love how it's an unlimited budget and we dont need a full home grown quota 😂
You're right, but they're talking about building a squad for a title challenge, so yes, we probably do need a ridiculous budget to upgrade the squad for a title charge. We all know Spurs won't invest what's needed so I don't know why Ange is talking about title challenges. He needs to stop talking so much.
Exactly, Spurs should be looking to bring a few kids through & get the best young players they can from the domestic leagues, with just one or two big money players.
Kulu is a top shelf player who is very experienced but still very young. He is never the reason Spurs lose and can make a difference as the team improves.
I do find it interesting that you say yourselve's that we need at least 14 out , and then people wonder why we fell away so much at the end of the season with injuries etc. we just werent good enough, surely people can now see that we have alot of work to do in the next few transfer windows.
I cant wait to see how we do this transfer window an who goes an who comes in, next couple of windows will be exciting to see our future start to show the direction we will go
Festy Ebosele another interesting RB option, Irish international, plays for Udinese, homegrown at Derby County.
Homegrown is vital and he firs profile he and Calafiori would be my defenses buys , Porro/Festy Romero/Dragusin VDV/Calafiori Udogie/Skipp Williams/Son Toney/Richi Johnson/Solomon Sarr/Bissouma Ederson/Benten Bergvall/Madders/Kulu Vic Austin Kelley - 8 homegrown 4 Club raised plus u21s. Seriously sell the rest and that 24 member squd can compete and win
@@seane.j.daniel6999 I commend it to the house!
Lucas Bergvall is potentially our most creative player even at 18 not saying he should definitely start though
He might even become a starter before secon4 half of the season
Do you reckon Kulu can play in CDM? He is or was one the best in distance covered and has great interception. We could change his game to be better at tackling. He can hold the ball well and can drive forward. I don't think he's a winger or a CAM. He seems more like a CM/CDM.
The gap will never close with these owners. The clubs that compete for titles sign the best players. Spurs do not do that. We'll always be around 4th. Maybe higher if a couple of the other big clubs have poor seasons.
We're not challenging unless we signed two world class wingers and two world class midfielders. Moreover, 4 of the best squad player available in the market.
Yes to Calafiori. Don’t mind Robinson.
I rate solomon. We need depth. And if he played good against the lower table teams then that's perfect. The starter is going to need games off for a rest with European contests. Solomon can be good enough to provide those breaks.
Some good shouts there. I still like Ederson from Atalanta in the mix for a defensive midfielder. And I think if Sesko is a bridge too far for us, I would have Solenke at Spurs in a heartbeat.
Academy? Like Santiago, Donley, Lankshear, Nile John, Abbott, Dorrington, Soonsup-Bell or Devine? Scarlett out on loan again or giving him the chance of a full season?
Guys I don't rate Brennan Johnson. I don't think you guys understand how much we need killers like Nico Williams & Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli with Son upfront. Brennan is not good enough he came there to play with fear & for us having to understand how young he is, meanwhile Lamine is not so fearful. Diaz would've been a great signing. We need top signings not these compromising players we had to bare with coz of Lewy. Lastly Lewy out if he aint doing anything bout it
If you want a player who can play CB and LB, since we use inverted fullbacks, it would mean this player would need the skills of a CB, LB and CM. This is such a hard profile to find.
Did Postecoglu invert both full-backs at Celtic? I thought he only used to do it with one. I agree with you by having both invert and how they basically get high up in midfield it makes it really difficult to buy versatile players who could also play CB too.
I had no idea we are using inverted full backs. Porro is right footed, does he always cut inside? I am not sure mate.
Udogie is 💯 left footed I feel he is a wingback. I have never seen them cut and move into the middle , not sure if we use inverted wingbacks.
@@mauddib1761That is his whole thing. Nobody inverts both except Ange
Just need a CM that can play at Left back really. Speed and strength of a Leftback, but technical quality of a CM.
@@pyrrhusepirus7181 Like Udogie
We cannot sell the only Striker we have in Richarlison, he is not perfect, but he is OK and has proven this, so we need to keep him for sure and buy one, and then next summer to see with Veliz, Scarlet, Lankshear, Bell and so on with Richarlison and the new one which 2-3 to keep.
I am confused. Do we play 433 or is it supposed to be a 4231. Maddison plays higher up and the 2 holding mids??
I think it's a mistake to take Richarlison off the table. He's shown he can score that we all wanted. A striker needs the ball in order to score and in fairness often the wingers haven't produced the crosses to Richarlisons competent head that would've increased his goal tally. Werner was good at getting the ball across goal unlike Son so we'll lose that if Werner goes. We've missed players that go for long shots and succeed this year.
We will not sell so many players, we will keep Skipp if only for the HG,Austin also for 3-th GK as he is HG, Davies and Richarlison also will stay.If we get 1 striker, 1/2 wing, a number 6 and one more defender will be good. I do not expect more then this.
Good analysis.
Tottenham does not have the money to buy the top-quality players to win the Premier League.
Even if money were available, top players like CL football, like top proven managers, like trophies... Do you really trust "Ange Ball" enough to spend huge amounts on "his" players. Celtic dominance in SPL is not enough of a "track record" for me
And why should they? What have Tottenham done to deserve spending so much money? The club has done absolutely nothing.
Spurs have been spending a net spend over £100m a season the last couple of years & that's after lockdown cost the club a lot of money. Spurs are a very wealthy club, there was a time when the stadium was being built & the finance sorted that they didn't spend but in general they have invested in the squad, it's not how much money, it's that the money has been spent poorly, like Ndombele for £62m, Sanchez for £40m, Richarlison was a bit too much at about £60m. I think Spurs are still one of the top 10 richest clubs in the world, they just need to spend money more wisely.
@@jimmynich4791no only wisely but more on the amount and of quality. Yes, they have brought bad players but all clubs have, you have to move on and keep on getting good players, or you will going back to deadwood and win nothing.
They actually do, but they choose to buy quantity over quality. Which never works.
The firepower equation up front has not clicked in the same way we have been used to. Especially with the Son/Kane goal partnership being the level needed, no being met vs. top table sides. Since Poch left , the waste of this partnership has cost the club, by not having the team anywhere near the same level. Going forward , some more PL ready players , that means big , powerful and seasoned to the league , keep bringing in youth is not helping the first time readiness. Shouting for 21 year olds is just leading to less consistency. The goals for rate needs to increase by 15% overall , on top of current goals ,that are falling short in getting over the line.
What about Dusan Vlahovic?
Just wanted to hear some thoughts about getting a top winger first and then getting jun-ho from stoke as a young protégé for son.
By my reckoning you’re looking at us spending between 350 and 400 million. That. Isn’t. Happening. It reminds me of last season where Naglesmann was going to come and then Slot, and we ended up with an Australian. Also half the players you talk about are destined for clubs who have champions league football. I don’t know if you’ve noticed but there now is a very strong possibility we only get Conference league football, which is not exactly going to have players falling over themselves to join.
Don't forget Bergvall is coming in
Not a starter
Bissouma, royal, gil, lo celso, ndombele, sessegnon, reguilon, spence, tanganga, rodon, richarilson, dier get rid of all of these players immediately richarilson if he stays it's as a backup
Bissouma needs confidence in the players around him. PLUS CONSISTENCY …. He never had consistency after Chelsea match with who played next to him.
Sonny doesn't make Striker runs... I hope we go a different direction at Striker. Someone who makes great striking runs and can win in the air... I don't remember the last time I've even seen Son challenge for a header in the box.
Hasn't richarlison earned another crack after this season?
60 million times NO
He has, big time. He is FEARED by every other prem team.
Federico Chiesa can play left, right and up front.
What is funny is when arsenal challenged last season ..they didn't sound the media about it..when Liverpool first challenged for PL never saw Klopp say we r challenging to the media...but some how ange and this fanbase sound the trumpet without doing anything in the PL ...our club and fanbase sometimes😷😷😷😷
24 years and counting in our 5 year plan
Everytime you say that an ENIC somewhere dies
Temu Koopmeiners, the perfect 8 for us, he’s really cheap like 30 mil also
If Werner is a no for winning the title, then Deki should be one of the first to go also
One of Davies and Emerson will stay as he is HG and can get less money i expect it to be Davies, and i am happy for him to be the 4-th choice CB.
Sonny liked my folliwing comment on his dute sp i thought id share my feelings here;
Another way of looking at Spurs:
if two seasons ago the fans were asked next season you're going to have the amazing Antonio Conte as Manager and Kane is going to score 30 goals and then the season after you're going to get a completely new style of manager and be without Kane but you're going to be in a stronger position, higher in the league and your team will score more goals and have more wins you'd be excited ? In my book that's progress.
Ange is our Messiah, treasure him, we are lucky to have someone who cares so much about the fans
Incorrect
Desperately need a playmaker who can hold the ball and make effective passes, while Sarr develops. Bissouma not up to it unfortunately.
Honestly would sell Biss and Kulu too, would prob get good fees for them and I don't see them improving.
Hs2 is making more progress than us
We need to start by winning our remaining games first
nah, you're alright in 2nd
Of the players on screen there are 33 players and you want to shift 18. Big Summer ahead. Specialist coaching staff required. In Ange we trust, In Levy....er....not so much.
Tottenham need to focus on the defence! The club has now good midfielder, Celso, Højbjerg, Maddison, Bentancur, Kulusevski. But 2 good defender missing. And....players who want(!) win a thropy.🎉
Bergvall should be in the squad. He could be a future Odegaard
Son for all his brilliance is NOT a No:9. He is no good in the air and is NOT a player who likes the physical side of the game. You need to have nasty streak about you as a 9 and should be able to give centre backs a HARD time on and off the ball. Son in this respect, is too nice.
Richi has become a heart and soul player for Tottenham. Do not sell.
True 😂
Have a look at Angelo Stiller for the 6 👀 he has shades of Rodri
I agree! He seems to be a big part of why Stuttgart are 3rd in the Bundesliga.
No need for werner. Just have som there and play richarlison and give Veliz some games. Johnson can also play either side. Johnson really should be starting games
Whats the obsession with "hes young"? By the time our players get into their prime, Ange will be gone and bigger clubs will poach our better players like VDV and Romero and Son will be retired (unless we're planning to sell every one over 30).
I think you're right, while we want mostly young players with lots of potential who can handle the physical side of things, I think some experience, like an experienced holding midfielder would be good, maybe on the wings as well.
I agree with this. Oil money buys a lot and that means every decade we'll have small windows when we can compete against them for maybe a season or two. We gotta shoot for the trophy before Son retires and the likes of VDV and Romero move onto something bigger and better for their careers.
@jimmynich4791 exactly my point. We don't need a bunch of young players in the front line. We have Kulu and Johnson barely contributing. Richy is injury prone. Son is declining. We sold Kane for 100m. Surly they can bring in someone more proven to score goals that's not a kid?
@sof5930 They could & I'm sick of reading comments about Spurs having no money or not spending money, they're 8th or 9th richest club in the world & they've a net spend over £100m in recent seasons. Sell Hojbjerg, Lo Celso & Ndombele, even if it's around £10m each, bring in one quality holding midfielder, a proper number 6. I don't know why left footed Kulusevski hasn't played on the left where he wouldn't be cutting in & passing backwards all the time. I think as well unless the scouts are really convinced in a foreign based player then they should be looking to recruit from domestic leagues as much as possible, not so much English players but players with experience of the game over here.
Really like Gertruda. Great player.
This isn't Football Manager. Just to ship out the dead woods will take Levy at least 2-3 years! And without getting these deadwood out, we can't get anyone in.
- Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
- A Proper Striker - Martinez? Thuram?
- A Proper DM/ Holding Midfeild general
No one should be exempt from transfer - including Son. I'm not saying get rid of them for less than we should - however, there needs to be proper movement. Decisive and hard changes.
We’re not Real Madrid lad.
@@randomyoutubecommenter2787 if we shift some of current underwhelming squad, there is no reason why we shouldn’t be able to bring in players. I just don’t see us competing without 2 to three proven marquee players. How much do you think you’d get for Son, Kulu or richarlison?! We need to take rebuilding seriously and go in a new direction. We don’t need to be Real Madrid to do that, we want to sit at the table we need to make big decisions.
Let’s be honest - our most realistic chance of silverware going forward, is to lobby the premier league for the introduction of an also rans trophy. Only problem is, we’d likely screw that up as well & finish 2nd or 3rd in it.
Bergvall! Out on loan?
There is a lot of hype surrounding the summer transfer window. Daniel Levy will always be Daniel Levy; he will not change his modus operandi. We may acquire one good player, but he tends to supplement the team with two or three average players. It's the same old Nothing but shattered dreams. 😞
If Nico cant give Yago Santiago regulaar minutes till his confidence in PL minutes becomes routine
That is why we need to give Ange more time to rebuild the team...min 2 to 3 transfer windows to be fair....we won't be flying next season that is my honest opinion so is gd we don't get European football next season.
Back up or 2nd keeper I would bring back gazzaniga from girona
Let’s bring Dane Scarlett onto the main squad
No to KWP. Let’s not go backwards.
I don't see the point in selling Davies. Yes, he isn't good enough, but he is the ultimate professional and won't disrupt the harmony of the squad if he hangs around one more year as our 8th choice defender and then leaves on a free. We aren't going to be able to bring in infinite players this window, so why not stick it out with Davies for one more year instead of trying to buy 3 defenders. In my opinion, bring in someone like Califiori and a replacement for Emerson, then wait a year to replace the outgoing Davies.
I like Davis, we have poor harmony in this club, it’s okay to sell if you need to.
BTW where's Lucas Bergvall in our squad
He is on loan back, it will take a while before he starts games for us I feel.
They will test him in Europa and cups. Could be a starter after 2 months of the new season if he is up to it.
We need a proper CF who can hold up ball, make good runs and be a handful upfront.
There's a young lad at munich who fits the bill..
Kulu left back option too?
Spurs will never be like the 1960 1961 and 1970 team they had great players nit like the present team
EZE or Olmo as the 25th squad member
Okay guys, whats the bill and also the income? Does it equal the rumoured 150 mill plus the sale of the players leaving?
11:37 he’s actually a lot worse than people think. I would say he’s been our worst first team player this season
I don't feel good about the constant rubbishing of our players. Not referring specifically to you guys, but generally. There's a core of good young talent there. They are the same players who were winners at the start of the season. I keep reading "Back Ange". Well, what about backing the players? Doesn't a good coach make good players better? Kane's lucky he got away.
What has happened with Mitoma? Nobody mentions him anymore, is he injured?
Where is Bergvall in your team? He will be in the team next season
What about Santiago Gimenez? or Gyokeres?
Maddison drops off way too much at the end of season every year even at Leicester
I don't know what football you guys been watching but Werner has been really good and what we actually need.... he is quick and creates chances... I really like Werner
Enjoy your club :)
A MIRACLE.😅😅😅
I keep saying Paulinhia he would be amazing for us
Price
Slow and bad on the ball
We need to sign players who are used to winning tropies who are winners and will not settle for anything less thats what we are lacking i thinkRomero is the only player who has won a tropie you look at teams like city liverpool full of winners thats why both teams win tropies we lack winners in our squad
Porro was at Citeh before do he probably won something there. I agree though, they need some experience, I think especially at number 6.
@@jimmynich4791played 0 games for them
That’s probably £300 million spent plus wages! Can’t see all those players joining. I’m not keen on seeing Sonny as one of the two strikers either and think he needs to stay on the left.
Big, big risk changing the squad substantially. I have my doubts the players are the problem.
