Totally forgot to put in the fact that Jiren can also vanish the level 3 supers, due to the fact that his buffered vanish goes off before the level 3 activates. This is a pretty important piece of information to maintain the thesis that Jiren is pretty much always at an advantage when landing the counter, even if it is a small one.

Another thing is that he can choose how long it lasts and you can call assists at any point, there’s also the fact that there’s no dragon rush guaranteed OS (since it blocks everything) so you have to react to the counter ending. (Unless he calls an assist at the right time, then you gotta block/reflect.)
It’s also pretty difficult to vanish the counter when it catches you by surprise
Buff him a little bit more and then boom he be perfect same thing with 17 and blue vegeta Just a little bit more not too op

I know this is after the roshi patch, and that I probably sound biased...
But I feel like bardock was never really too OP to begin with.
when you just look at him, he seems like the ultimate balanced character if you aren’t analysing every little thing about the game.
Good auto combos, perfect for learning extended combos, both of his special Moves can be used in the air and ground, no ultra special and Broken feature to make him annoying to fight against...
He’s really the character that you use to get a feel for the game, I think the reason everyone says he’s op is because he doesn’t really have any specific weakness (other then zoning).

Ok something I never noticed before - in the beginning where he showcases that you can cancel a move into super on reaction if it hits the counter, the transition from Cell's level 3 into Vegito's is SO GOOD

I honestly have to agree. Since I don’t play the game much, I have no idea what counts as impressive and what’s just a bread-and-butter in your “X Character is S Tier” series. While the edits are great, I don’t find myself all that engaged.
In comparison, I’ve watched all your analysis videos at least twice or thrice. They’re superbly entertaining because I understand what’s going on.
I get that it’s probably easier to make the “S Tier” vids, but it was the analysis videos that earned a sub.

Personally I never minded using meter to deal with Jiren's counter, because what really mattered was that it was an opening, and you could cook Jiren with a double level 1 into a level 3 with enough meter
