For some reason I think this guy is like many of the grand master of many martial arts out there. Knows all the techniques, never had to actually use them. From what I saw, I doubt there would have been much difference if you had given a hobo that blade, and had him whack through the course.
Grand master my butt he was making mostakes with his attack technique like during the section where he needed to empty the containers he was attacking the center even though anyone with a brain would've been focusing on the bottom of each container.
Grandmaster nor not, any grandpa's arm would be jello by the end. And what kind of blade is that....the edge was folding after hitting those broomsticks.
as far as i could see it's kinda like a replica blade more of for show than the real thing. it's too shiny compared to the real one. seems like a softer metal was used. seriously a the real thing won't take a beating in just a bamboo

It has to be sharp enough, durable enough, and wieldy enough. Sometimes the blade is on the dull end and gets caught and unable to cut through, other times the guy testing feels like the weight/balance of the blade makes it a bit of a hazard because it's hard to control and properly follow through.

Its usually use for farming nowadays cutting vines... stuff like that. Depends on the construction actually 😅
