I like how he has the Documentation open on separate monitor. Really enforces the whole you gotta return to the documentation.
I am so proud to announce that I finally finished my solo writing rpg system!!🎉🎉🎉
I could imagine the two angels looking at you saying
"be not afraid 😢"
Your game looks really beautiful. Your art style is interesting, like a cartoony blend of art nouveau and visionary art. I think combat and character movement would benefit from some more speed and juice )camera shakes, more sparks etc.) The music featured in this video is pretty cool too, kinda relaxing. Keep at it and congrats on showing your game!
So Cool ! Keep the devlogs coming .
I am glad you started making videos again.
really like the concept and art style. :)
I’ve learned so much through your videos! Thanks a bunch and hope you success with this game!
Subbed. This seems like a type of game I would enjoy and I can see this game developing into an artistic masterpiece. In the back where you select levels at 4:32 The black hole and ruby looks cool as fuck. But the triangle shape, flower and cloud while they aren't bad they look out of place.
Thanks - will take this into consideration!
Awesome devlog! 💎
Looks cool, keep it up!
This is soooo good!
This looks great! It definitely doesn't look like a first game it looks super polished
Suggesting a slight or minimal movement up and down for Y axis loop while meditating is a better visual for a floating state :)
Holy shit looks super cool
Art style is great but the walking animation could use some work.
Will be working on that!
Thanks for sharing this looks really cool. Subbed and wish listed. I'm actually doing somewhat similar but in 3D, in Unity and more of a scifi/fantasy angle yet still keeping the spiritual influences intact. I was wondering, if you could still work on some of the animations (not sure how it works in Godot). I think that is the thing that takes me out of the illusion. Just a bit too simplistic, stiff and monotone. I know animation is a huge topic, not easy to do but just some food for thought...
Thanks - yeah I've been working on a bunch of animation updates for Devlog #2.
I never thought I'd see a game about astral projection! I'm a game dev myself who's had some very brief OBE (Astral Projection maybe) during sleep paralysis. It's a weird intersection! Is the game based on your own astral projection experience?
Definitely inspired by things I've experienced yes.
Nice
Not my kind of game. But very nicely done, looks great! Hope it will sell very well. 🍀
This is cool, but why do you move so slooooow?
I may address that!
Always cool to see indie games but change the eighties repetitive synth music.
The music loop is so short. It gets annoying.
I would not move to godot 4... bloom adds alot to your game and also alot has changed in terms of different 2d nodes and functions making it not worth to port i feel like
I totally love the way this looks, but I gotta say the walking animation is distractingly bad. Its so out of sync and over-exaggerated that it pulls me out of all this great stuff youve made. I think that small change would make a huge impact.
I've heard this a few times, so guess I'll work on it!
