    I try the audio diffraction and transmition but it's really not like the video. It's really binary, either I hear the sfx, or I don't hear it at all.

      Hello SpeedMilesGood. Everything in this video has been recorded directly from the "Wwise Adventure Game". Are you using UE? If so, did you make sure to disable the Refresh Occlusion Interval (set 0)? If you did disable it, it's probably a matter of fine-tuning your Spatial Audio Acoustic curves.
