i saw a video where chuck said they write stuff expecting a little chuckle and get raging laughter...and they showed this clip ....
I love this game, but I hate the double entendre that follow it whenever you need a certain resource for a road or settlement
Ah, your right it seems. I just watched the bloopers and some of them involve the audience
I don't give a shit how immature this is, nor do I give a flying fuck that I am 22 years old and laughing at this. I'm laughing because IT'S FUNNY!
It's only funny to those that never played Settlers of Catan. Everyone that has already gone through 20 dozen wood for sheep jokes already.
The Gamers Grind without mentioning mother jokes with wood and sheep involved, those are classics in my group
L'Utente Medio We usually go with that's what she said jokes. But "she" gets very odd and obscure pretty quick.
The Gamers Grind like Bernadette.
Gamers Grind you must be the most boring person in the world then. I've played Catan probably 50 times and have never gone a game without every player laughing at at least one wood joke. Whether they played it many times before or it was their first time. You must have the personality of a moth.
It definitely makes it less awkward.
You're right. People finding things funny, ruins comedy.
The only people who think its canned laughter are the ones who dont find the joke funny, thus if they dont find it funny then no one else could possibly find it funny so the obvious source of the laughter has to be a laugh track. That in and of itself is funny **laugh track**
BUT HOW ELSE DO YOU KNOW WHEN TO LAUGH AND HOW FUNNY THE JOKE WAS?
ad hominem - is an argument made personally against an opponent instead of against their argument.
Thank you
