A few people on the comments here saying you have too many coats. Well, if you appeared on Instagram/TH-cam all the time in the same three coats, those same people would be asking have you nothing else to wear. Now I don't have 24 coats, but as a Canadian who literally has to wear outerwear 7-8 months out of the year, I 100% understand the need for some variety. Only 3 jackets would not cut it haha Great video Alix :) hugs from Ottawa x

Minisha Lamba well let’s start with the massive environmental impact of the production of all these clothes. And the human cost of people work in dangerous conditions and badly paid to produce cheap clothes for us. Your own individual happiness is not the most important thing in the world and there are lot of better ways to feel happy!!

I love the check blazer from Stella McCartney! I know it's not the oversize fit that you're in right now but i think it's such a classic and timeless piece that some time in the future you will probably use.
It's about need vs desire. If you love coats and love variety then you might collect more over time. For some people, coats are only to keep warm. Some people even hate them. For others (such as myself) we wear them because we love them. I would wear coats all year round if it were cold enough. Sadly it's not cold enough.

Don’t trust an English person when they say “its not cold outside ” or “this coat is warm” they don’t have cold and are most frost-hardy people on the planet! What is winter coat for them is usually spring/autumn coat for rest of the Europe 😁
How many coats do you own, may I ask? That is counting blazers, jackets, actual coats, may it be functional, business or casual. Do you live in a climate of four season weather? When did you start buying coats? How often do you replace pieces? What is your occupation and does it require a certain attire? These are all factors that can play into the amount of clothes one might have. I don't have 25 coats, but weather from -25 to +45 degrees Celsius, 20 years and two career paths later, I am close. Did it cost some money? Yes. Did I get back some of it after I did my taxes? Also yes.
Damn girl 20+ coats... Glad you can afford them and good for you on that front. But i gotta say that this isnt normal at all. The internet is just showing us we need to buy buy buuuy, god forbid someone sees you in a jacket twice. Why not try being reasonable about clothing in general? 20 something coats doesn't mean anything when you dont have two friends on your own to go out and walk through town wearing those same things

Maybe it’s a horrible place because people feel so personally angered/insulted over things other people do that doesn’t affect them? Very easy to not watch a video that bothers you so much 🤷🏼♀️
I totally get why you have so many coats. 1) You live in a colder climate (I live in Canada, totally feel you). And 2) you work in fashion! I used to work at American Eagle in uni which specializes in jeans so I used to own like 30 pairs of jeans.

Just a little tip to roll (and keep) up the sleeves: use a rubber band and the sleeves will stay up. And can be hidden underneath the fabric easily.
