I am really happy for those of you liking POE2 For myself, I am about to hang it up on the shelf, just not the right pace for me and what I look for in gaming.
That unlucky change is awesome. I was SEVERELY held back by pretty much zero drops on the 2 first "bosses" to the point I was fed up and rerolled. The next toon got drops and had no issues at all progressing with the same exact build.
They need to stop making every boss and rare drop 3 flasks maybe? We already only got 2 slots and getting the same flask without quality EVERY TIME feels like someone is taking the piss

No idea who you are or why TH-cam notified me but this is my favorite game at the moment and I support everyone involved so, much love. Great way to fix the corner problem, if you're a witch, kill just 1 monster and then use detonate corpse. I found this place I'm act 2 called buried tomb or whatever it was and I walked into a room that had like 100 guards frozen in place and I was like aw shit they're all gonna come to life aren't they? Yup. Best believe I used detonate and I cleared the whole room with just a few blasts, and it was glorious and satisfying. Reminded me of using corpse explosion in Diablo 2 after herding a bunch of cows from all corners of the screen and watching a screen length worth of enemies drop at the same time from one blast. Good shit.
I have no idea how rare GCPs felt before, but this is a 30x change compared to previous. I really wonder who the balancing did on the original patch if the change is warranted.

Good changes! Glad they are listening to feedback, but Poe has been pretty good lately listening to the community. My one gripe I have with this game is that leveling feels slow, and some of the skills need buffs bad. Especially minions early on! Boy are they terrible 😂
Its a first step, dont think Regals will be where they should be even after this. Perhaps rares should have one shard per mod or something ... I just would like to craft some gear :(
Great video thanks! Question, i wanted to switch to the srs build (lvl 22 atm). Now this: we'll be making it so that Raging Spirits can only summon 5 Raging Spirits per cast at all levels. They will also no longer be able to be spawned from triggered Fire Skills. Still playable?
@hansjansen7157 It's still strong. You can still use the ES from dying minions (Grim Feast) as a survivability battery, and just fill up your permanent minions with Arsonists. Get Minion Instability and Infernal Legion on SRS ASAP (you will need more skill duration to let Legion burn them out if you have Minion resists and regeneration). I'm playing this still at around level 60 with little issues scaling it in obvious ways.
@ they made a hotfix today maxing SRS to 5 max and disabling the proc of them from fire skills like flammewall. The entire build needs to be rethought:///
@@dmitrynutels9340 Brother Just read Patch notes, there is now a Bad luck protection for uniques, every unique also Drops atleast one rare, they buffed Drops from rare monsters in generell and all the currency Drops Changes are also present in the campaign... So i dont really know what u mean with they dont Addresse campaign?
We are less than 1 week into EARLY ACCESS and GGG is planning to run it for 6 months, or up to a max of 12 months. Don't worry they have enough time to react to feedback.

My main issue is the games depth. I know they will fix drop rates and things like that, but I want to know why so many interesting interactions have clearly been thought about ahead of time and purposefully stopped from working, or why have they took skills from PoE 1 and just made them strictly worse and clunkier to use, like curses or offerings? Why have they put such a heavy focus on combos when they know the first thing every single PoE1 player is going to do is try to find a 1 button build, they said the combo stuff was optional but in reality it's not, it's the only viable way of playing for 99% of builds and I feel like the exceptions to that rule are going to get nerfed. The support gems are another issue, it's a lot of conditional nonsense that nobody actually wants to use, half of them will only ever be used because there was only 3 real support options and you need to fill the last 2 slots. The skill tree is also lacking depth, it might be bigger but there almost no interesting notables, and half the keystones are basically just not even relevant to the way PoE2 plays. EDIT: Called it, go from posting this to your stream to see them having nerfed the SRS interaction, rip.

So what do classes without point blank AOEs like Merc do? Or, you know, they even mention the most problematic version of this with the goddam Keth beetles which come out of the goddam walls from all directions.
One problem is the feeling of loosing control of your character. When you get stuck you will instinctly try and dodge away but your character is stuck and you cant do anything. It feels awful and sometimes it's not your fault for getting there in the first place. Getting stuck by large enemies is fine. It looks alright and make sense. Getting stuck by things that are tiny in comparison to your character looks strange and is why trying to dodge out of them makes sense.

Agreed to some externt. I think just increasing the amount of loot dropped overall would have fixed most of the issues. But I also played poe 1 yesterday and just felt overwhelmed with how much loot I was getting in combination with how easy that game is. I think poe2 SHOULD be more difficult and require more patience. Otherwise it will just become the same exact game as POE1
GGG can just add a softcore option and voila you can have ruthless mode and we can enjoy trading rats race 6 portal in peace,just like po1 have ruthless option for the 5% or less player who whant that.

I hope they change it so that the mana flask lowers the infernal mana or i can replace my mana flask with a life flask if i take that ascendancy

Great changes. Farming Act 1 with mules will now be a viable solution to my character that is stuck in Act 3.

One the main issues was the exault drop rate and it seems that they want to make it roughly the same
I guess the loot is still disappearing from the ground on death. That's a weird design no loot-based ARPG tried to do.

the automation loop is gone. still playable but not as lazy. meaning: cast your fire wall yourself to summon SRS
As Pete said, just manual cast flamewall for SRS. Still works.

GGG has been notorious for double-dipping on nerfs, I'll gladly take a double-dip on a buff for once! Lol
