My paternal grandma, right before she passed, a few months before Covid started, got a jack Russel. She was from a breeder, THE most expensive dog any of us have ever gotten… and they quickly realized she’s deaf. No one knew, the breeder certainly didn’t, since they offered to take her back. My cousin was concerned she wouldn’t… be safe… going back, so they kept her. Lucy is great, but the SASSIEST dog I’ve ever met! If she doesn’t was to ‘hear’ you she turns around 😂
These dogs are all so special and beautiful. They remind us how beautiful life can be!!! They have so much love to give
I rescued a stray mini poodle/terrier. He was a walking mass of matts. I took him home and began cutting off the matts. After the golf ball size matts were removed from his eyes, we discovered that he was blind. He had progressive retinal atrophy. He rode shotgun from northern Maine to the Washington coast as I worked. He made more frends than I did. The walks we had were amazing!! He just used "step up" and "step down" for verbal cues and he was good. My mother noticed his nose smudges aling the hallway years after he was gone. It made me sad to hear that she wiped those smudges away!

Yeah I loved this video and blind and disable dogs are still normal dogs and they deserve to be treated fairly some people treat dogs badly and they hurt them so when I see a abused dog I just feel bad for them thanks for this video I loved it and plum is so cute and sweet you are a great dog owner
Never met or adopted a blind dog, but my nephew French Bulldog, Sterling, has one bad eye from being mistreated after he was born to a breeder.

I just had my special needs baby girl pass a week ago and am absolutely crushed that she is gone. I miss everything about her. We had our chiweenie for 13 years and I would never ever trade a single day of the blessings she has give me and my family. I just wish that I would stop crying for her. She is in a much better place now. But a small place in my heart wished that she never passed away EVER. Confessions from a mommy that needs her baby girl to be alive again.😫
