One can really do no better than a Yamaha C Series grand piano, especially when comparing performance versus price. Arguably the world's most popular grand piano range, a Yamaha C Series instrument is a reliable workhorse that has become the instrument of choice for many a performer, educator, church, restaurant, and home pianist - anywhere a good piano is required!
The 5'3" (161cm) long Yamaha C1 is the smallest model yet benefits from the same design features as the larger C2 and C3 models. There is no compromise on quality, only the length of strings and the size of soundboard, meaning that a C1 is an ideal choice if space is at a premium.
This example is fitted with a Yamaha SI Silent system and was purchased new from Chamberlain Music in 2008 by its sole private owner. It has seen comparatively little use and remains in wonderful condition throughout. Its Silent system is a great solution for when acoustic playing is not convenient, and although digital piano technology has moved on, still features a good quality Yamaha acoustic grand piano sample with plenty of polyphony.
The piano is finished in a high gloss polished black lacquer with brass fittings, also benefiting from a soft-closing fallboard. As a C1M it is an example of the well regarded M generation of C Series grands, produced from 2008 until the 2012 launch of the current Yamaha CX Series.
