Who in the world is hiring people for cloud engineer positions with only an AZ-900? edit: after watching I see you had a decade of tech experience already. You might wanna make a change to your title because I guarantee a bunch of noobies are gonna pay for this cert and think they're gonna get a job in tech when this exam is more a proof of knowledge for people who are already relatively experienced and looking to transition into a cloud role from something less advanced.
I think that's a fair comment - too many videos out there claiming they bagged a great cloud engineering role after passing a fundamentals exam. I have 25 years of IT admin experience and am only just taking the AZ 900...but if I didn't tell you that and got a job as a dedicated cloud engineer after passing, you might think it was easier to get a job than it actually is. Having said all of that, the AZ 900 requires no background in IT to pass and would definitely help you move forward if IT is a career goal!
Yep! I’m currently just going through the Microsoft Learn modules which are free and provide all the info you will need for the AZ-900 exam. People are missing out!
This vide is a misleading. You CAN NOT get a cloud engineering job just with Az 900 certification. You can't even do this with Az 104. You NEED experience. You can land a Cloud job with experience and 0 certs but you CAN NOT get a cloud job with certs an 0 experience.
Certs and projects. It’s not misleading. I stated in the video i already work in tech. Not every video is tailored towards people with zero tech experience. Believe it or not there are people working in tech (like myself) who want to move to a cloud role 👍

I just done my SC-200 but thinking of also branching more towards Cloud. I'm gonna do my AZ-500.I wonder if AZ 900 is a good stepping stone before doing AZ 500

Cert with without experience is nothing , dude's got 10 years of experience before the cert . For noobs you need to build a portfolio of projects in your resume just to get a call. It doesn't matter what cert you have without relevant experience its just paper. Cert+ work experience at least will get you a foot in the door via interview calls. In the end , any knowledge is good knowledge but cert itself can't land you a job.

If I can consistently pass the microsoft's own practice assessment 100% rate. Should I just take the test, I am too lazy to study further. I came with AWS practitioner experience
I was doing the same thing, but I read on reddit, that the Microsoft Learn practice assessments are a lot simpler compared to the exams. I have not taken the exam myself yet, but I am probably going to buy some practice exams first

The AZ-900 qualifies you for absolutely nothing and no one is even going to hire you for tier 1 helpdesk with it, let alone an engineering job. Sure, it's a fine little addition to an already well-rounded resume, great for showing your employer you're motivated to learn if you're in your first year on the job. But that's it. I'd like to see this guy's actual LinkedIn before I believe anyone is hiring you for an engineering role based on the AZ-900.
