Zenaia definitely saw through him from day one! She just found his honest fumbling more charming than any "destined hero" act could ever be. And yes, letting Thea write that poem was... an interesting choice.
Even if it was just purely coincidence and a little bit of dumb luck involved it's still great that Edward was able to help free Zenia and her people and even though he wasn't the hero that was prophesied she still loved him for who he was regardless 🥰 and their story will be spread far and wide thanks to his student Thea spreading the word.☺️
Ok. Now that was a delightful romp. So human and so like real life. We all just humble into failure or greatness, never really knowing which way life will turn. Magnificent.
Absolutely brilliant! PMSL. The accidental hero with traces of kung foo panda. This wonderful story shows that sometimes our destiny finds us even if we have no idea of our life journey. This is one of your best my friend. 👽👽👽👽👽👽 6 out of 5 🌠💜💗❤
"6 out of 5" - that's exactly the kind of math that would happen in Edward's universe! 😂 And yes, Kung Fu Panda vibes were definitely there, though Edward would argue Po at least knew kung fu by the end... he's still waiting for his skills to kick in! Thank you so much! 🙏
😂😂 now that was a great story. Poor Edward couldn't get a break but she still believed in him she saw his true colors ! The lesson from this: Just be yourself no more and no less, you will conquer all !!!
Literally tripping his way to greatness - it's kind of his superpower at this point! Though if you asked him, he'd say his real superpower is surviving his own luck... 😂
Overall, If Edward did not have dumb luck, coincidence, and a little hint of plot armor Thea and Zenia wouldn't be where they are at the end of the story.
Let's be honest - Edward's superpower is failing successfully! Though he'd argue it's less "plot armor" and more "everyone misinterpreting his panic as genius." 😂 At least Zenaia loves him for it!
Merely because he was not aware of being the warrior of the prophecies does not mean he was not in fact the warrior the prophecies spoke of. The collection of artifacts that proved to be the exact tools he needed, the seemingly random and unintentionally effective actions that saved them again and again, even the experience with the previous young woman who became her devoted student and found him as he and the queen approached the first temple on the volcanic planet and added useful input to the adventure, constitute a series of events that were too numerous and that were too “just what was needed, just when they were needed” to be realistically attributable to mere chance events and inept stumbling and bumbling. More likely the right man, in the right place, at the right time.
Love this deep analysis! The eternal question: was Edward really just lucky, or was the universe conspiring to make him a hero whether he liked it or not? Even Zenaia might argue both can be true. Though Edward would definitely vote for "inept stumbling and bumbling" 😄
I wonder if "dumb luck" is quantifiable. like through science there is some understanding, I've know people like this. Just kind of fell into things, and they worked out for them.
Thea accidentally being wise while trying to justify her Master's complete lack of competence is my favorite running joke. She's not wrong though - Edward's self-awareness about his weaknesses ended up being his greatest strength! 😄
I found this annoying at the start but started to grasp the humor of it. Although I believe he is less of a clumsy idiot and he has cosmic fate for super powers.
That's exactly the mystery I wanted to play with! Is Edward really just cosmically unlucky at being lucky, or is there something deeper going on? Even he's not sure anymore... though he's still voting for "clumsy idiot"
If the volcano planet was supposed to be an ancient and forbidden world, why was there recorded footage of it? Was it his zealous "disciple" that recorded it and distributed it? The story was good up to the first temple, then all continuity stopped and the story no longer made sense.... Why does the station security system know about the "Shadow Guard" and know it is a threat? Who programmed it? How does the shadow guard know all about the ancient doctrines and understand what the protag intends to do?
Valid questions! Actually, Thea was indeed recording everything (part of her "documenting Master's wisdom" obsession). As for the Shadow Guard - they've been around for centuries as a known threat, so most security systems have their signatures flagged. But you're right, I could have made these details clearer in the story! Thanks for the feedback! 😊
Thanks for your feedback! While Edward's accidental heroics aren't for everyone, that's what makes storytelling fun - different styles for different listeners!
Sometimes the greatest heroes are just people trying not to die. And failing upwards is still technically succeeding!
Well this tale had me laughing out loud. Well done writer, well done.
Mission accomplished then! Making people laugh was the goal - though Edward's screaming was definitely not for comedic purposes...
Loooooved it. She knew from the beginning he was winging it, but through all of his mishaps, she fell for him. Love the poem.
Zenaia definitely saw through him from day one! She just found his honest fumbling more charming than any "destined hero" act could ever be. And yes, letting Thea write that poem was... an interesting choice.

That's exactly what I was thinking and that Zenia is naive and gullible to notice it.
This is without a doubt the funniest story of the entire galaxy !!!!! 😅😂
I haven't chuckled or laughed SOO much !!!!!
Bravo to the writer 😮😅😅
This must be a Monti Python or Mel Brooks or Sci-Fantasy production. 🤪 Excellent!
Douglas Adams meets Princess Bride was the vibe I was going for! Though Edward would probably argue he's way less competent than either of those... 😆
I was thinking Space Balls 😂❤
Ok. Now that was a delightful romp. So human and so like real life. We all just humble into failure or greatness, never really knowing which way life will turn. Magnificent.
This story is the best one yet. Love it when you put in all the humor in the stories

This is the Best story yet !!!
Thank you! Though Edward would probably say it's the most embarrassing story yet... but that's why we love him!
I really enjoyed this story. Great Job.
Thank you!
So Awesome!! Would be a fun movie! 🙌
Thanks! Though I worry about who'd play Edward - it takes real skill to make accidentally falling over look heroic! 😅
😂😂 now that was a great story. Poor Edward couldn't get a break but she still believed in him she saw his true colors ! The lesson from this: Just be yourself no more and no less, you will conquer all !!!
Cool how Edward literally stumbles or trips into becoming the hero.
Literally tripping his way to greatness - it's kind of his superpower at this point! Though if you asked him, he'd say his real superpower is surviving his own luck... 😂
Bravo! That was a great story, definitely worth passing on. ❤❌💯‼
Thanks! Nothing brings people together like watching someone accidentally save the galaxy while trying to find a place to hide! 😊
This is a great story... With a great message... I wished I could live this out...
Brilliant and funny and did I say Totally brilliant . What a story , had me laughing and crying at the adventure. Loved it. Thanks so much .
what a great- fun story :) -- thanks
Thanks for listening

Just enough humor you make this a genius story. Very much like a curtain adventurer of our video hero's.
Thanks! I'd like to think Edward would appreciate being called a "genius story" - though he'd probably trip while trying to accept the compliment! 😄
Lol, very good one :D Thanks
The rhyming at the end had me rolling 😂😂
That's what happens when you let Thea write the epilogue! 😄 She insisted on "immortalizing Master's glory in verse." Poor Edward...
@Sci-Fantasy is so very true she is a very poetic minion lol
Very entertaining story…🙂
Very fun tale!
Glad you think so!
I love the running gag of I just fell.

STILL WAITING ❤
NEED MORE ❤
REALLY LOVE ❤
THIS STORES ❤
ASAP PLEASE ❤
THANK YOU ❤
Hilarious! Had a friend like that, he now owns a company that builds aircraft.
Your friend sounds like Edward's spirit animal! Sometimes the best success stories start with "I have no idea what I'm doing" 😂
I love characters like these like seina yamads from tenchi gxp, captain taylor from irresponsible captain taylor as well as others
It's like listening to " life of Brian" (Monty Python), it's hilarious! Great story!
This man is channeling the entire skaven races ability to fail upward
I wonder if "dumb luck" is quantifiable. like through science there is some understanding, I've know people like this. Just kind of fell into things, and they worked out for them.
Very entertainng, indeed!
Thanks! Amazing what can happen when your protagonist's only strategy is "try not to die today"
37:02 Thea is right negative qualities can be their own positive strength in their own way.

Hmmm Edward's 'A Series of amazing Coincidences' 🙂 This has me laughing as this story unfurls...
For once, a humorous farce. Very original.
I found this annoying at the start but started to grasp the humor of it. Although I believe he is less of a clumsy idiot and he has cosmic fate for super powers.

That's how the Jesus story might have evolved, if there ever had been a Jesus.
This is some Ci-Ci-Ciaphas Cain type bullshit.

Sorry this is a stupid story for me
Sounds good but just the way it is told with a stupid man
His stupidity is not good for story
