I know, and her dissing Rainforest Café after it being closed in Downtown Disney for us at Disneyland and being a tradition for my family’s first day at the park for years deeply hurt my soul 😂😭
Chef Mickey's is one of my favorite in all of Disney World. Yes, it is loud because it caters to families with small children. But, you know that going in so it's not a surprise, and I love to see the little ones having such a good time. Yes, the food is so-so. But it's exactly the kind of food I like the best. Homey and tasty and simple. That's why the kids like it so much. And they have characters. Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto wear chef outfits and are happy to pose with all the rowdy customers. I LOVE it there!
Food is still good, but having been there in December, food is not as great as before, plus it's still the same price and disney got rid of the photo op with Beast.
It was amazing until they changed it to save money🫤 There used to be so many options and now there’s only 5, same ones for lunch and dinner. Dessert lost its magic as well, no more dessert cart to pick from. They ruined an incredible restaurant and experience just to cut costs 😔
Sci fi dine in is a one and done for me. We went back a second time and the food was eh. Once you’ve experienced the atmosphere once, that’s really enough.
I always get the “Beastly Burger” at Rainforest and it’s the most delicious and absolutely amazing tasting burger I’ve ever had…and it’s fun. Even for a 67 year old kid!
I went to be our guest once I thought it was really good. I even tried the gray stuff and it was delicious. Chef Mickey’s was really good too. Pizza Rizzo’s I thought it was OK kind of meh

Okay why does everyone like Garden Grill?? I thought it was literally disgusting and I’m not a picky eater whatsoever. But the food was legit nasty. Out of 4 of us, we barely ate any of it and spent $260!
Teppan edo was great for us because coming from the UK West country we don't have anything like benihanas nearby. Not a must do every time but it's always nice to try something new.
😊 honestly I could agree with this but one of my best memories is the Sci-Fi drive in as a kid... I'm not even sure it's still exists anymore but it was my favorite memory with my parents! I had seen it I had heard about it I definitely wanted to go there they were 100% against it and I lucked out and they let me go once and it's still my favorite... So I guess my tip is if it's one of your kids special interests even if it's not highly rated consider whether or not it might be worth it!

We had a huge group, so it makes sense that it was hard for the server, but there were so many mistakes and poor service in our order that we had to talk to a manager to even get the check straight at the end. He was awesome, though, comped some stuff, and just really showed he cared. The kids loved the restaurant the whole time at least, and it was very nice to get a place that seated our 18 person group!

Hot take, but unless it’s just to give the youngest the experience that the other two had, and only if he asks for it, Cinderella’s Royal Table. We felt so rushed, the food was subpar, and the price tag just didn’t live up to the hype.
I mostly agree with this list. The only exception I'd make is for T-Rex and/or Rainforest if you have kids that enjoy it and you're able to use the birthday month gift card you earn in their free rewards club. The lunch is definitely a lesser quality meal than the breakfast is, so I would say skip Chef Mickey's for lunch, but yes to breakfast.
