Demons have said humans are stupid especially the atheists, because even in the Bible it says demons tremble at the name Jesus Christ. That should tell you everything you need to know.
Yup, it's a fun easy to understand philosophical retort, that one individual no matter how skeptical or devout has the world revolve around them, whether one believes something doesn't change whether it actually exist, and it's better to be safe than sorry with long standing believed to exist entities like an evil force and good force in existence than completely ignore it and be at their mercy if they do exist.
A lot of people don’t like this rendition of Constantine. But I love this movie. The way angels and demons and god and the devil are depicted are so good.
@thatoneguy9816 I'm saying I'm Constantine 2 might be a letdown based on how Hollywood have messed up numerous classics. Gladiator 2 being the most recent example.
For alot of people, myself included, this was our first introduction to John Constantine. Little did we know how differant he was from his source material, namely that he is absolutely British. Or that he's teamed up with freakin' Batman on numerous occasion's
From what I've seen the big differences really are that he's not British or blonde, otherwise they're pretty similar. Mainly because he's not a very complicated character, he's outwardly cocky and rude because he deals with all manner of demons for a living, usually on the cheap because he "secretly" cares about people but tries to hide a want for interpersonal relationships because it's risky to hang around him The only other main difference lies in the fact that the movie Constantine exists in a universe where the rest of the DC heroes and villains don't, angels and devils are about as powerful as it gets so he doesn't need to do massive magic rituals to deal with the Spectre or Mxy But that's a power scaling thing not a character thing
My headcsnon is he was like that before and something happened that made him change. Because they say sonething like that during the movie, that he is different

Satan did make a wager with the Almighty God, that he would show God that most men were corrupt. Satan said he would corrupt them by whispering into the ears of men. Satan said he would do this from behind, in front, on the left and the right side of men. Satan wanted to show the Almighty God that most men were ungrateful for his love.
