in my opinion.. google pixel is just like iphone for android.. this phone has been made for us so that we can enjoy the camera experience just like pixel 3 or 3 XL etc, but with the lower price.. its photo has a good detail btw , dont worry about its camera performance for instagram .. and for gaming,, i havent found any lag so far, i just played pubg though . but for this range of price ,, actually u better go with redmi k20 for performance, or mi 9 . i think.. but i havent bought them yet 😁😁

Thank you for a very thoughtful review. I have a Pixel 3a and in my experience it is the best phone I have ever used. I don't need all the bells & whistles & extra cost of the 'flagship' models. The plastic body makes for a light phone that will not shatter from the impact of a fall to the ground. I think the Pixel 3a is the phone to have with regard to cost and quality.
Totally agree . Got the Pixel 3a back in early May and am still using it. Best Android phone I have used yet. Does everything well and still no slow downs or lags unlike some other Android phones I had .
Google know they're strength is the camera, so they build a cheap phone around this, not to mention there is so many Chinese brand has more to offer, just can't compete the photo quality of google

Keep in mind, google do regular updates on improving their pixel phones, which is a shortage of other android brands who don't do regular updates out there. I might say pixel is the iphone of android. Just my personal opinion.
Appreciate the detail, light years above other reviews. This phone is a winner. yeah, I can afford more expensive phones, but I refuse to pay 1000 dollars for a phone.
My nexus 6p (or p6 forget which) i bought in 2016 was my favorite phone, have had 8 or so sense it bricked and have liked none until i recently bought the pixel 3xl ($499 half price day on google fi). The user experience is just simple and enjoyable to use. I was shocked at the camera, not really into camera quality but some picks and the blur effect where incredible on the phone. I think i'll just stick with the pixel, maybe get the Pixel 4a if it ever comes out.
@@borecko1 more reliable. Don't have to restart it a lot. Battery life is just as good. Pictures are way better. Unlimited photo storage for pictures of my kids.

I have it too and I never had to restart (ofc if I don't count updates), about camera, yes googles algorithm is unbeatable, but I like the versatility of mate 20's cameras, especially the ultrawide. I tried reaching out to Huawei but they won't help. The Pixel does a better job with the UI and feels faster and more stable. The pictures blow the Mate 20 away. There is zero comparison in day to day use. Still manages to run games and get everything else I want done and it is half the price. My Mate has 256gb and was filling up fast. Now I have unlimited, again. No comparison there.

Bought one for £100 last month to replace my 2xl as it's battery was no longer holding a charge as long as I need it to. I've always been an Android purist and came from the Nexus phones which I rooted and flashed to my heart's content. My 2xl had lineage OS on it but I haven't flashed this as yet but probably will for adblocking 😅😂🤣 I'm liking Android 12 as it's very polished IMO and gives the phone a modern feel and it's one of the best things about pixels

It’s been my main concern due to so many reviewer comments that you can’t see the screen to take a pic in full sun. My color preference would be Purplish but T-Mobile doesn’t offer it, so black it will be I guess.
I never owned a pixal so on cyber Monday picked up the 3a XL for 4oo.oo bucks tax included. A good phone? Absolutely the OLED display, camera & battery are very good. The 670processer runs well, no lags or stutters. For the average consumer at this price is an excellent buy. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone. The stereo speakers are quite good. Yep, I also like the polycarbonate build quality better than the glass sandwiche. Very good review!

I had the Pixel 3 Xl, unless they've changed it for 3a (wouldn't see why), the gestures can be turned off by going to Settings > System > Gestures, tap on Swipe on Home Button, turn it on.

That's the thing, this phone only makes sense if you live in US, cause that's only where you get it at it's original price and heavy discounts. Anywhere else it just doesn't makes any sense, as one would end up paying more than buying a better overall phone than this one.
I was excited to get the Pixel 3a XL in 2021. Wonderful camera of course but after a month or so, I broke the screen. I really can't recommend this phone for the fact that it was just impossible to get another screen.

The review on the GSMArena.com website goes into fuller detail on the speakers/audio quality than this video - GSM gives the speakers an''excellent'' rating and here are their results: Voice 79.3 decibels; Music 77.1 decibels; Ringing tone 91.1 decibels. Direct quote from their review: ''In fact, our tests show that the pixel 3axl speakers are one of the loudest we've tested so far''. You will have no worries with this phone if you want a phone that has excellent speakers.
This review was different especially in case of camera department, cause we can't compare it with other videos which are shot in the studio. I don't like that. All the camera samples are totally new.

Google Pixel and any Android One phone's are the best experience when it comes to stock Android. Guaranteed 3 years of support which makes buying pure Android phones worth the money now days. Something Apple has been doing the reason why people buy Apple over Android devices. Thanks Google for giving support now . The biggest question I have is WHY IN THE HELL GOOGLE IS TAKING SO LONG IN DEVELOPING A PIXEL WATCH . All the money and brains they have no one can figure out how to make a competitive watch to compete with the Apple watch. REALLY ! Until that happens I still give Apple the edge over Google.
Based on price point I would choose Motorola One series I just checked the prices One Series (One, Vision, Action) - 200-300eur Pixel 3a and 3a xl - 500-600eur At least there are these two with long support.

Here's my review and it wont take me no 13 minutes to tell you. Buy the Xiaomi mi A2 instead, it's the same phone at less than half the price... You're welcome.
After having both, the A2 is great but the Pixel 3a XL is noticeably better. The camera takes sharper pictures with several other options like Top Shot. The 3a XL has a headphone jack, dual speakers, and an AMOLED screen. The Mi A2 has much better build quality, an IR blaster, and almost as fast updates; but the build quality isn't that noticeable when both are in a case or skin anyways. The Pixel also works on more carriers in the USA. With Google's iPhone trade-in offer, you can get the 3a or 3a XL for prices actually pretty close to the Mi A2. I bought a co-worker's iPhone 6 for $40, and got $248 back from Google. Also, unlike the Xiaomi, the Pixel actually has a warranty in the USA. For most people (maybe not those watching TH-cam phone videos), the Pixel 3a is a better buy.

Google is insane. Apple level insane. Atleast Apple didnt put a midrange processor in an almost BND1000 phone (its BND910 in Brunei). I'd rather buy the OP7 pro for the flagship processor than this shit.

Most of Motorola's phones use Snapdragon 600 series processors...

Here's my review and it wont take me no 13 minutes to tell you. Buy the Xiaomi mi A2 instead, it's the same phone at less than half the price... You're welcome.
After having both, the A2 is great but the Pixel 3a XL is noticeably better. The camera takes sharper pictures with several other options like Top Shot. The 3a XL has a headphone jack, dual speakers, and an AMOLED screen. The Mi A2 has much better build quality, an IR blaster, and almost as fast updates; but the build quality isn't that noticeable when both are in a case or skin anyways. The Pixel also works on more carriers in the USA.
With Google's iPhone trade-in offer, you can get the 3a or 3a XL for prices actually pretty close to the Mi A2. I bought a co-worker's iPhone 6 for $40, and got $248 back from Google. Also, unlike the Xiaomi, the Pixel actually has a warranty in the USA. For most people (maybe not those watching TH-cam phone videos), the Pixel 3a is a better buy.
The only thing stopping me buying this phone is the storage is only 64gb 😠😡
