Really enjoying the series. Hope you have some interviews with people who work for large companies as i think we have some different experiences than individuals who are self employed or work for nonprofits

I lived in Frederick many years! About 20 minutes away now so I might have to go and visit the shop

Enjoying this series. As someone else mentioned, I'm interested to hear how others working for larger companies do. I work for a large company/educational institution/gov R&D lab and it hasn't been as accommodating as I had hoped, so I'm looking forward to hearing about others' experiences.

I actually have congenital cataracts, which have lead to glaucoma in me and my siblings. We have glaucoma pressures in our eyes as a result to our congenital cataracts.

Love your content Sam, this series is great! I work at an assistive technology non-profit and we are in the process of developing a AT cooking program, focused on cooking at home initially, but we have hopes to add vocational training in the future (my background is in foodservice and hospitality). It would be amazing to hear from anyone who has been through the experience of working in hospitality and the accommodations, tips, or tools they found helpful for VI.

Thank you for this program. I like the positive influence. It is good to here personal stories of people that are creating work opportunities for themselves. I am looking for work opportunities for myself. I have a feeling your show will help me with information to do this. Again, thank you for this series.

This is a great series. It’s nice to hear how blind or visually impaired people still can have a job. I am blind myself, and I unfortunately am not working at the moment. I still haven’t touched a computer since I start to lose my vision back in the summer of 2020 I am blind now and really need to update my computer skills so maybe I can get a job in the future.
Maybe for future videos, you can interview, Brenda Erickson, she has a TH-cam channel and an online kitchen store. She does her business but just herself and her husband and she also offers free shipping.
Her company supplies kitchen products that would help a blind or visually impaired cook.
She sells measuring spoons that looks like a little because the handle is straight up instead of parallel to the measuring spoon And it has tactile bumps on it, so four bumps would distinguish it to be a quarter teaspoon and two pumps or a half teaspoon. Maybe you can feature the blind kitchen on the new episode.

I never knew you worked at subway that is my first job!! I am legally blind and I know that staring feeling definitely. My vision have gotten worse since but I don’t think I could go on the line now with my vision getting to this point!

My apt complex charges me for parking. I'm legally blind. They refuse to take off charge

Found this comment puzzling. If you're legally blind, that means your vision can not be corrected to better than 20/200 with glasses or contact lenses in either eye. Or, your peripheral vision is less than 20 degrees. One can't have a driver's license unless it can be corrected to at least 20/70 in the best eye.
