This seems pretty well organized for what looks like an older airport terminal. The narrow hallway with a circular room at the end was common back in the day in terminals that have now been recently been demolished and replaced with new facilities. This one doesn’t look too bad though. I like how it’s pretty much all windows. LAX’s old terminal 3 had a similar design to the A gates or B gates, but that one was showing its age and had a less than stellar layout (no separate seating for each gate) despite its characteristic high ceilings. It needed a replacement more.
Tsa Agent here, No you don't have to, but if you're On D gates and going all the way to A, then it's going to be a long walk, you also have to take a tram

If I have a connecting flight from Vegas to New York (American airlines) will I have to go through TSA again?
if you're changing gate areas (like from the D gates to the A gates, for example) you may have to.
