- So I started up some Eidolon hunting in Warframe finally. One of those things I always ignored since operator kinda sucks and isn't all that fun. So far seems like the total of Eidolons is pretty fun and naturally a good focus farm. I need to get a lot of the later game arcanes and just Eidolon arcanes so I will be farming for a while. Slowly I will level up my build, fighting my way through that random toxic Eidolon hunters. Luckily so far most in publics have been great.

How to hunt in pubs:
1: At the end of a capture, if there's still time in night cycle, quickly type "stay as group? we have time left." Especially if you're trying to cap Quills standing really quickly or trying to speed run rank. Even if you don't do any damage, just bring a volt for shields or a trinity for heals. This way you are still contributing and people will be willing to stay. Did this a lot back when I first started and 80% of the time I wasn't ditched by squad mates.
2: Toxic teammates? Just leave after capture and type "gg." Don't entertain their toxic meta know it all bs in any way.
3: New players with no dmg, dying a lot, ect.? Choose what you want to do. Either carry them through it if you have the build for it or leave after capture or what ever the result is. The only time you should type to them is to try to explain what is going on. No need to harass squad mates over something they have no knowledge of.
4: You want to run Eidolon Cull? Do it with friends. Pubs have been getting better these days in terms of toxicity, but the Eidolon Cull is where it skyrockets out of control.
5: Hi, I'm new. How do I hunt with lower tier gear? Like I said earlier, bring something to the table. Either a high damage radiation weapon, a somewhat decent amp that's not the Mote amp, or a supporting warframe. Just look on TH-cam, there are so many tutorials on hunting that show builds ect.
I like trinity, or rhino a lot, volt is fairly common in public

Do you think I could bring a wisp into pub teralyst? I have a lot of ability strength, health reservoir gives 840 last I checked, I don’t do damage that much tho with my main gun being an acceltra that just doesn’t do good enough damage

I really don't understand ppl, if you're a pro tri hunter, make a premade squad either fr guild or recruitment chat. Don't join a pub expecting everyone to know what to do. It takes quite a few rounds before new players get used to knowing their role in the squad as well as good positioning. Ppl who join pub squads expecting to do 4 tridos a night are just unrealistic. Not everyone wants to play in an efficient speed running group that does max tridos a night. It's stressful as all hell. That's why we join pubs, only to be salted upon by so called veterans lol
Im doing 2x3s solo as trin. My main problems: vomva spawn is incosistent,yes i know i can force spawn but sometimes it doesnt work and second during the hydrolyst fight theres so much things going on that sometimes im getting disoriented.
I almost always run volt and then bring amesha so I can heal lures if necessary (amesha is OP). The voidrig necramech also dunks on the Eidolons, so it's not nearly as difficult as it used to be.
I find teralyst pubs to be fine, there's usually someone who can just solo it and one shot the limbs anyway. Its tridolon pubs where people start to get super salty about noob teammates. People really show their lack of communication skills there.
Still waiting for DE to make Space Eidolons and we use our Railjacks to hunt them Moby Dick style.

For public games, I found that the best amp for shield takedown to use is 777. Spam the primary entirely into their leg. A full clip normally takes down about 30-50% of their shield.
the flamethrower can actually pierce multiple hitboxes so if you stand underneath the eidolon either between his legs or under his leg and aim up at around his shoulder area, you can completely break garry’s shield with volt shield+unairu +virtuos strike. you can even break harry’s shield in 1 mag if you get the angle right. just experiment with it till you see the most numbers :)

Hello, so basically, a summary I can give to anyone starting out with eidolons/tridolons that I had to learn and research on my own. And a comment on something in the video. The video itself is good.
I'm not sure if you're saying - going on your K-drive for avoiding mag procs because you saw some bell end called Estio000 go on one (I'm judging based on the stream vod).
* In short, best options for avoiding mag procs - arcane nullifier, or subsumed abilities that provide status immunity (i.e. Titania) when playing solo, when playing with someone, I believe harrow can block status procs. K-Drive in my case was just cause I had an animation bug, where the game broke for me and resetting the animations using a K-Drive was the only way of fixing it. But I have to mention - I haven't tested the mag proc immunity on K-Drives or Necramechs, since I feel like that shouldn't work.
* One-shotting synovia's in my experience is just as simple as having a damage buffing ability + volt shield + sniper of your choosing. I personally use volt + mirage's subsume + shock trooper augment built for strength + in my case of running solo-duo pub runs I use Umbral Vitality + Adaptation to tank the magnetic nova's.
* Pubstomping Eidolon Cull is fine if you get into a decent stack, but as someone before mentioned - in some cases the toxicity there is just unbearable.
* As a side note, Itzal's 3rd abilities augment is really nice IMO for freezing voms after a capture if you don't have any lures on you yet - I guess this would be sub-optimal in 5x3's but if you're doing a casual 2x3 or 3x3 you can press 3 to grab the shards, freeze the voms, run get a lure and charge it, or maybe even 2. But that's my opinion since I only use Itzal from the ye ol' days where it had blink and haven't tried the other archwings.
* When running pubs - Madurai's Void Strike is optimal - since, as much as I love Unairu's Wisps, there's no guarantee you'll get a stack without Vacuum or Fetch, but in a premade stack having a dedicated Unairu person is very useful, since it lowers the number of VS stacks you need to get by 2 (as in divides, not sure on the exact terminology).Yet I have to mention my first 5-10 runs were on Zenurik, simply because I didn't have anything else unlocked and It worked fine if my team wasn't tryharding.
* Also, as toxic as some may be, if you can't carry the team, and you know that the next 20 min will be a huge pain in the ass - I'd say reset, night happen almost every 2 hours, as annoying as it is - you're better off leaving the squad and finding one you enjoy playing with. But this last point is just my subjective opinion - one night-cycle can get you a whole daily cap of focus (if you're around MR20) so even if I leave a squad that has a toxic player in it and worst case scenario - I waste a whole night cycle because of it - in 2 hours I can try again, and best case scenario, you'll find a decent duo with you on your next attempt and still get 1-2 good hydrolist captures that cycle.
I want to mention that most of this is what I've personally experiences/tested/done or seen on the forums.

My poor friend got screamed at and flamed and called some *really nasty shit* when she tried to fight an eidolon. She didn't know what to do, and people would much rather vomit slurs at her for slowing them down than actually help. If you do eidolons, DO IT WITH FRIENDS.

Try Madurai’s void strike with virtuos shadow(get the buff) and shoot secondary amp fire, combined with your usual shield strat, you’ll see the magic :)
And magus melt boom no need to use primary just shoot through raplak it crack both shields and limbs, but u must duo

You don't use vazarin dash to avoid mag procs?
If you got the voidrig mech and a decent amp you can basically solo the teralyst with any shitty frame if you want. Pop the shields switch to the mech activate his 4 and pop the nodes and at the end you can kill the eidolon in a matter of seconds with the mechs 4 because it does insane amount of damage, 50K per shot if the arquebeks are modded for radiation. Also pop fire rate on them since they don't consume energy per shot but drain over time.
The mech makes it so insanely easy. Also the Phahd brace for the amp, the secondary fire shoots a homing disc that bounces between enemies, is probably the easiest gun beside atomos style weapons to kill the vomvalysts with.
Quick question: does Baruuk's DW/SS work on Eidolons (auto adjusts dmg type to rad) , if decently maxed & can he use any of his abilities on them, like putting them to sleep or making himself invulnerable to their projectiles...?

Also, has anyone tried to use a Necramech to fight the Eidolons - or is that entirely non-viable for some reason?
Voidrig is great for casual hunting (I just do pub tridolon hunts, I don't get into the hardcore multi-runs in one night so I'm not min-maxed for it)
Necramechs are immune to the magnetic wave attack after breaking a limb, and the Arquebex can explode said limbs immediately once the shield is dropped
Long time ago they were difficult-ish. With the amount of power creep since then they are basically target practice.
What is meant by '177' and such digits?
I use Harrow for eidolons, provide great immunity for magnetic, heal, buff damage, and if I run unairu then wisp buff too.
Managed to do my first successful solo run the other day and my 2 main clan runners who come with me on group runs have managed to get 2 done per night. I’ve built a volt to experiment with in just concerned about the lures surviving if I use him

For me, some aspects in Warframe like Eidolon and Railjack are just too confusing to grasp. Meanwhile some others are pretty clear but need to deal with lv 50++ enemies (Archont Hunts and Sorties). That's when taxi come to the rescue! As long as you keep respect, I believe this community won't mind new or not-too-hardcore players to join.
Exactly i get dms from my clan all the time from people recommending me to help them in Railjack its where i spend a ton of time and ive helped make 300 member clan on xbox about half of them enjoy railjack now but not grasping it the mode sucka
Yes it's very easy to do just time consuming just pick a good frame like wisp Oberon Trinity chroma or volt even harrow is ok I just have a 111 and the new war one. It nice to use void strike from maduri to little bit of extra damege

I'm used to soloing a lot of destiny 1 and 2 raids on my own that are possible to do alone so I just sat back and learned the attack patterns and phase changes like you would in dark souls built a build for it and started soloing eidos and tridos by myself and to make it more nostalgic I only use common and uncommon mods maxed out for my builds
It’s pretty fun like I’ve met a few toxic eidolon hunters however I’m all about throwing myself into difficult situations which is hunting all three eidolons like I’m not the best but I feel like I’m good enough so even though I meet toxic people I don’t respond to them I just get the job done

yeah tridolons aren't hard tbh, you just need practice. Long ago when I was a newbie at tridolons I mostly do 3x3, 4x3. But now I did 5x3/6x3, even with 2 man 6x3 hunts

Not hard at all, all his parts are in the cetus bounties with decent drop rates. Just do the question for the main bp.
Pup use itzal 3, so you can pick up the shards easily, it's a quality of life thing

Can't wait to try my pretty nice Lanka with a Riven as a test and just to find out how good it is for Eidolon hunts. Especially with the riven just giving heat and damage so already with one mod I got damage and radiation taken care of :D no downsides so it's still solid and makes builds for it a bit more flexible

Im just confused as why why i van hit millions of damage with no effort but the eidolon takes 200 per shot while useing the same weapon and buffs.
My method is just revenant with 200% strength with eclipse helminth and natarak bow can 1 to 2 shot joints with it and as rev you cant die so works well as a solo player

Haven't played in a few years, but Lanka with Volt shield used to one shot the limbs. It was god tier.

Doing tridolons, i always run trinity because the worst thing that can happen in my opinion, is your lures get killed and a team mate not paying attention kills the eidolon killing it instead of capturing. For just the regular eidolon though, it really doesn't matter, lures will never die.
I always seem to have lots of eidolon lures when there is no eidolon. My favorite free roam enemy is the 4 legged spider things where you have to take out their legs.

Set groups is for power running I think iv3 done 3 rotation in a single night cycle once
I also started doing this but solo. I get frustratingly close to kill the last one but then I run out of time. I probably should do some public missions but last time I did that someone yelled at me

I'm an old player, but I'm too lazy to do all that work for the rewards. So yeah because of that I know very little about Eidos. Plus not having the Arcanes most people have like Energize and Guardian and many other useful Arcanes is kinda crap. Still no motivation for all that work.
It seems like, at the moment, it's rare to find people who are willing to squad for Eidolons in public (Cetus Relay). If you're lucky, you'll catch a pro Eidolon hunter who will volunteer to help you. If you're really lucky you'll get a full squad. I can solo a Teralyst but it takes the entire night. All I have (at best) is Excalibur Umbra (not quite fully upgraded because I need like 80k endo), Rubico (standard... Not prime), 1-2-3 amp which was recommended by a friend because it has a better crit chance/damage than 1-1-1. And yes, Eidolon hunting varies from two minutes to 20 minutes per Teralyst or going through the big three. I've struggled with a decent squad against a Gantualyst and we decided we won't be able to handle a Hydrolyst. The next day a pro hunter volunteered to help and we alone did the big three in a breeze. A friend and I did Eidolons together for the first time (we usually just run nightwaves, index, fissures together) and it was a breeze. Out of interest and curiosity we decided to try a Gantualyst and we found that it was a breeze also.
The thing is, it's a lot of work and takes a helluva lot of hope you'll find likeminded or people in similar situation to rank up in the Quills with (only ever met one person in the exact spot I'm in). But it's just absolutely not possible to find people you can squad with to rank up with Vox Solaris. Either nobody cares about Little Duck or you can't find anybody in a similar situation with the Profit Taker quests.
So the reason why you want Rafiation and cold damage on your weapon is that the armor type of the mob takes bonus damage from those elements. Think of it as a multiplier, however if you completely strip that armor away then the multiplier dissappears too. So becareful armor stripping since you can end up doing less overall damage to the bosses.
How's viral+rad for these? I'm kinda new, I only ever played casually but now im tryna get a deeper understanding.
@@spakentruth viral won't work on them since eidolons are immune to status ailments, only thing you need to build for is criticals and radiation damage
the new amp seems to deal enough damage for smaller eidolon hunts so i dont know why people equip weaker ones sometimes. Maybe they dont want to stress out themself with timing the reloads?

You know whats fun? Having a limbo with protea's dispensery, popping it every few seconds, using your 4 when the the wave attack comes (after breaking a limb), and using your necramech's 4th (not bone widow) to break the limbs all while sitting in the void, safe and sound

Not quite. Actually it's 5.73, 8.1, and 10.44, assuming you get an unairu wisp and shoot through a volt shield. With a damage bless it becomes 4.58, 6.48, and 8.35. And that all assumes you crit. And the eidolon has double the 'normal' shield the first time you break it.

I’m an idiot and when I went to go do the quest for revenant it glitched and he didn’t spawn but there was an eidolon near by so my brain immediately went oh that has to be the boss. It was not fun
I started using Rolling Guard in my setup to cover when the magnetic wave hits. Just roll into the first wave and stay close to eidolon. (I don't have the arcanes)
Save yourself the headache by farming a bit of plat and buying r5 arcane nullifier right away

I just got into the sport of hunting eidolons. Bad thing is it requires a decent team for tridolons. Without a team with good coordination its hard to try for 2 tridolons a night. I personally run a 277 with void strike and virtuous shadow. And when paired with volt shield and cetus wisp i can 1 tap shields with about 9 times void strike. The hardest part of this setup is getting vs popped. Its not required to 1 shot but it makes it olmos guaranteed to 1 shot. I personally dont like running with randoms because generally when they say they can dpm it takes them way to long to pop limbs. Half my team shouldnt run out of revives mid way through the hydrolyst.

Get to using a 177 soon. Raplak with enough vs stacks and unairu wisp can one shot shields too and potentially limbs (this is more on the advanced side). Along that, it's easier to time a raplak shot than a propa shot in my experience.
@@cal954321599 ive gotten good at using the certus brace. Most of the time im running 2x2 with a friend being the limb popper. This gives me time to over charge my void strike. He also provides me with cetus wisps. So essentially when we down an eidolon limb i run over and grab a cetus wisp and immediately after i pop virtuous shadow. I run over and place a shield where he will move his leg after getting up and right before he recharges his shields i fire a certus shot at him and 9 times out of 10 its a 1 shot.
I use Oberon, because surviving is easy with him and he can give extra radiation damage.
My opinion is just to run tridolon in public, someone will definitely carry you until you get your amps. Theres no easier way to farm quill standing that turning lots of cores from tridolon, so just go in public and get carried. I suggest using something like oberon or trinity to help heal if you dont have a huge dps. Also use dead eye to help rubico prime users

For me it's less i'm angry at everyone else and more i"m fighting against my own poor vision to deal with the visual noise and clutter going on so I don't feel like I'm dragging everyone else down.
Then there are those times when it's like.... people literally aren't doing. It isn't that they don't understand it's they aren't doing. it's like 'guy.... are you seriously alt tabbing right now?'
I just got back into Warframe after 3 years and now volt isn't rare :/ came here to see if there's anything new
i still have the literal starting amp that the game gives you after you talk with the Quills for the first time... i refuse to tackle Eidolons until i at least get a better amp. im just not sure if it's possible to get a better amp without first needing to kill an eidolon
if you still haven't found, you can go to the plains at night and just farm vomvalysts, they give decent enough standing and you need their cores for the first quills ranks

Use necramech voidrig and his sentry mode you don’t even have to try to build it I don’t even have 8 modes and 2 shots appendages
I only did these Hunts twice, and I been in Warframe for so long but never have a decent group or my Dojo is young even tho I have Meta type of Frames. Just don't have people to really teach me or show me. I have powerful weapons as well. So If I can find some people to hang with would be great. I have the 177 AMP. Just wish to find a group
You run maduri void strike and you can do more shield dmg.
Just put a lens on and play the game. Focus farm done. Got them all maxed from steel path and onslaught

for some reason you won't be affected by the attack after destroying a limb when you're on a k-dive (it's true try it)
edit: if u want to heal your lures use amesha and it's 2, and 3 to be imune to status for the duration of the ability
Void mode blocks the damage, Oberon's magic ferns, Ironskin, couple Nezha powers eat the magnetic proc. But kdrives eat the whole thing? Neat. Might have to try that.

everyone has 5 revives per mission
Normally, you have 4 revives per mission, but any maxed arcane will add 1 extra revive.

Me and my brother do them for fun sometimes. We've gotten 3x3 a couple times.
I got my 1st 3×3 with a squad mate who was so beastly he was one shoot dropping limbs. He made it look so easy.

Rubico prime built for heat. As the shock trooper combines the heat with electric for radiation damage
Secondary is a catchmoon. Optional
Melee is a sarpa to strip armour
I use a 7.7.4 amp with unairu wisps and virtous strike.
For a good set up watch the KnightmareFrame duo set up.
@@Mustafa-ql1pi advice is watch other hunts on TH-cam and just keep practicing! Arcane energies and nullifier are your best friends for the beginning. Build bulk ciphers don’t waste time hacking lures.

This may sound crazy but its honestly easier to illustrate shield damage using math (I know!). Its just stacking damage multipliers, except there are very few that work on operator amps and we need all of them. They are:
1. Electric Shield - This is Volt's 3 ability. Shooting through it doubles your crit damage.
2. Unairu Wisp - This is a Unairu focus school ability that spawns a little cetus wisp when you operator melee something. Picking up this wisp double's your amp damage for 12 seconds.
3. Madurai Void Strike - This is a Madurai focus school ability that increases your damage by 12% for every second you spend crouched in operator form.
These are all independent damage multipliers so...
Total amp damage = base crit damage x electric shield x unairu wisp x void strike
Lets illustrate this using Propa scaffold because the math is easy. It fires 1 projectile that explodes for 1 instance of damage. It can either non-crit for 414 damage or crit for 1,494 damage. It has a 50% crit rate, meaning that on average 1 in every 2 shots will not crit.
We use an amp arcane called Virtuos Shadow to increase our crit rate to 80%, so on average, 1 in every 5 shots will not crit. This is much more reliable.
The Hydrolyst has a 52,240 hp shield. After breaking a limb it regenerates half of its shield, so 26,120 hp.
I'll save you some of the working out but we need 4.38x void strike multiplier or higher to one tap this shield using Propa. To stack void strike this high you need to be crouched as operator for 37 seconds.
Total amp damage = 1,494 x 2 x 2 x 4.38 = 26,174 damage
This is assuming you crit. Now what happens if you don't crit?
Total amp damage = 414 x 2 x 4.38 = 3,626 damage
Because you don't crit, you don't get the innate crit multiplier on the amp or the 2x crit damage buff from electric shield, so you do 7 times less damage!
If nobody in your party has Unairu Wisp (which is very common below 4x3), you have to stack void strike twice as high to do the same damage. That is, you need to stack to 8.76x. That means you need to be crouched for twice as long (74 seconds).
If nobody in your party has Madurai Void Strike or Unairu Wisp, the most damage you can do with Propa is 1,494 x 2 = 2,988 damage assuming you shoot through an electric shield and crit. But if you do not have Virtuos Shadow, half your shots on average will not crit and those will only do 414 damage.

running public eido hunts being a newbie is actually one of the worst decision you'll make, especially if you're in the asia region, the darkest and most toxic pit in the warframe community is the eidolon hunting
In my case i just run pubs in asia server and we can capture quite easily even i have mote amp, no one is complaining bcs they can pretty much just one shot all the limbs. Even if they chat its all asterisk anyway so who cares
I use Oberon because of his sacred ground stuff
