the CN PVs actually have done much more ESPECIALLY with the Eden Treaty PVs, the very recently released 2nd arc PV (feat Saori) was brilliant and it everything I wanted to see realized and I still can't believe that CN delivered, the scenes of her looking at her younger self and the shot that specifically parallels the one with Azusa's is actual peak cinema
Blue Archive CN most certainly has some unique PV's, but vol 3's PV is an absolute fever dream to me! I will always like vol 3 because it has a deep meaning for me. (ALSO you had me at the fish part, gave me a dying laughter but, yes great video!)

It's weird that they spent a lot more efforts on the PV, but being China, the characters are censored in-game. For that reason, it feels like such a wasted effort imo.
You could see it as making up for it, but either way I don't see it as wasted effort. Are you playing the game because you like the characters and the story, or because you want to see some feet or exposed thighs or something lol.

Contrasting the beginning where it is only her shadow, and then again all of the shadows disappear after the bird swoops in perhaps referencing her abandoning the club to hunt down Arius, believing it’s the only way to protect them 9:46 I remember this tweet :) Great analysis dude, the quality of this PV already blew me away the first time but Azusa is my favorite out of the make up work club so I loved it so much more. This deep dive into it also helped me see it more than just good animation and music, also the comedy was nice! It was still annoying trying to find your channel since TH-cam thought I wanted space content 😭

Initially I knew it was some kind of VHS tape sfx but since I had nowhere to go off of this I decided to cut that detail out, and i can see the vision of how this is a replay of her memories whilst azusa is dreaming but considering that other than that first click (and the last click at the end) there were no other details that indicate this being a replay (or im just stupid to see one). 8:54 i would definitely put this into the script if I have thought of it before, so thank you for suggesting! I'll try to think of more these in the future. Also, I would like to mention that I did write this script with no knowledge of how exactly the part played out since I read it a long time ago,I mostly forgot what hapenned other than the key plot points of the story. I remember stumbling across blue archive thanks to the koyuki, mika and gamer momoi's memes, so I decided to try it out gameplay wise I wasn't a fan of its gameplay mainly because I wasn't strategic in certain battles, but after awhile I loved it, the gacha system is generous I never had a problem with it, storywise I think it's amazing especially when sensei takes care of his students to make sure that they succeed in their battles.
