Quick Disclaimer: It will never matter in your games (most likely) but stuff like +5 speed timid Regieleki in Tailwind or +4 Sand Rush Excadrill in Tailwind are still the fastest mon even in trick room because of the way the game and teick room work. Trick room doesn't actually reverse speed order it just suntracts your current speed stat from 10,000. But any number over 8192 rolls over to 0 so you also have to subtract 8192. But if your current speed stat is above 1808 you are below the 8192 Threshold in Trick room which leaves you with a speed stat of like 8,000 while a min speed Torkoal in Trick Room will only have 1786 speed.
@@quorryraphael9980Yes. Regieleki at level 50 reaches 277 speed. +5 is 3.5x times, so 969 and Tailwind is another 2x for a total of 1938. For Excadrill he starts at 154. +4 Tailwind and Sand rush are a combined 12x for a total of 1848 speed.
Excellent video 🤘 A high level tip I learned from winner Alex Underhill in the ck49 vod for the Portland regionals: EV train your Pokémon to be 1 speed point different from each other if possible. This gives you valuable information on what Pokémon outspeed yours without having to even bring them to battle. I believe 2 sets of his Pokémon (Raging Bolt and Entei and idr) followed this rule which helped him make calls throughout the competition
Very good summary, though I'd lightly critique how you change up the format and info on each slide, meaning we need to calc or look up info that you chose not to make explicit sometimes

At level 50?
who is this a disclaimer for 😭
@@spookysquirtleidk, Barry Allen.
Or, you know, Doubles OU players, where Sand Rush, Tailwind and 1 Rapid Spin is enough to break past Trick Room.

Ye it's always a good idea to not have speed ties on your own team to have less variance
This is incredibly helpful. It’s frustrating getting out sped by a mon and not knowing what that calc is. Thank you for uploading this
Such an informational video heading into Reg G! Thank you & Gained A Sub!
Thanks homie, appreciate you
Congrats on 4k subs! You deserve more!
Thanks :)
I've been waiting for this! Thank you!
Can’t explain to you how much I needed this video. Didn’t want to pay for coaching and this helps so much
Glad I was able to help

Nice dude, very important video to make.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
With Neil quitting this is definitely n.1 vgc teambuilding channel
Speed tiers are so diverse in Reg G that I've decided to go for PaoQuaza w/Farigiraf so that I move when I want
Not a bad idea, I'm a big believer in that core
