Hi, I'm looking for a cartoon. I'll tell you the scene I remember. Aliens are attacking the city, their bases are deep in the water, and they enter their center with a ship and destroy it. It was a cartoon I watched as a child. I remember it was an Asian cartoon. You would help me
Personally, Some of the animes from the 50s-60s were called the precursor of Hanna-Barbanime and they’ve inspired the art style of Konami’s Pop’n Music series. I can see Pop’n Music eyes in The Dove and The Ant as an inspiring basis.
i love how all the anime uses minimal color of gray how they go from very dark to light with minimum use of black and when they do color its a very soft pastel
I watched the white snake one as a young child and it left me in awe and thoroughly confused. 20 years later I went looking for the movie again and noticed that they had left in all the Japanese so gs and music. No wonder I developed a fascination for Japanese music and taught myself Japanese in my teens 😂
Not surprisingly those Japanese animation companies would do work for (Videocraft Intl Ltd) known later as Rankin/Bass Productions, Inc., As the sixties progressed.
Ryohei Yanagihara's drawings are like cartoon, without any sense of Japaneseness. I'm interested in the reaction of people in America, the home of cartoon.
Dear WooKong, please help! need your expirience to resolve the search of one anime series for decades: it was shown in movie theatres in former USSR aprox in 1987-1990. But it can be made decades before (1950-1980) : Sport competition between animals (racoon and wolf aprox.) Racoon is honest and wining, Wolf is tricky and loosing. One of the series tells us about the preparation for boxing match on the moon where is low gravity. Racoon is eating and sleeping - gaining weight and Wolf is training. In the end Raccoon weights 10 times lower than it is and can participate, but wolf weights 0 in zero gravity and looses. Please help! i don't know whether it is Korean anime or japanese. But your expertise much better then anyone else on the web i ve seen
It’s in the Thai language and I’ve searched for it on TH-cam. It’s got a Thai name and is about Thailand’s take on Hanuman aiding both his country and the US to fend off east European imports.
Thank you for watching the companion video to "Post War Anime: The History of Japanese Animation and Japan" th-cam.com/video/zQlm99BajH4/w-d-xo.html

Post war means events that happen after war, in these case animations after the war compared to art forms before and during the war (war propaganda).
