- Potential Tropical Cyclone 13 has a 100% chance to form into a tropical cyclone over the next 48 hours and is expected to become a tropical storm by Friday. It has 35 mph winds now but is expected to brush by northern parts of South America over the next few days bringing heavy rain and the threat of flooding. It will then track towards Central America this weekend likely as a Category 1 hurricane. Tropical Depression #12 is still well out in the Atlantic and is expected to weaken to a remnant low over the next day or two.
I'm 58 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, we are finding it impossible to replace it. We can get by, but cant seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 40years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for

Hola! from Medellin Colombia. Thanks for the great updates, very helpful for the english speaking expat community around the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf. Little bit of trivia, a very small community of Colombians, San Andres Island, sits 200 km off of Nicaragua, and is now in the path of PTC #13. The island was hit hard in 2021 by Hurricane Iota. Saying some prayers for all 🙏
